IOT make playoffs the Panthers need:

Veteran presence in the secondary (Harper to Saints, Tillman to retirement)

Pass Rush from the front four (KK and Star aren't collapsing, DE's are horrible against the pass)

Offensive Tackles. 

Short passing game not 100% off of play action, Patriots vs Houston is a great game plan example on how to neutralize powerful front sevens.  (also, receivers that have their hands up when they're looking for the ball)

Cam to wear a damn mouth piece. His concussion probably came in the first half, he started to not set his feet correctly in the second quarter and missing wide open throws randomly. 

 

The first three things PROBABLY won't happen this season, it's not Gettleman or Riverboat style to make those drastic changes.  The other teams had the entire season and off season to adjust to the Carolina game plan and attack our weaknesses, now it's time to see if our coaches will adjust.

The delusion on this board is insane.  Matt freaking Ryan threw for over 500 yards.  Are you guys forgetting that?  I was optimistic last week.  I was under the impression we just played against very good defenses, breaking in some new corners and the heat has been brutal.  But after what I witness yesterday destroyed any optimism I had.  After a few more losses, we need to start thinking draft spot.  I'm going to get hate for saying that, but it's the truth.

We were frickin' gifted Trevor Siemian, Blaine Gabbert, and Sam Bradford as the first QBs on our schedule and we lost to two of them. It's like last season never happened. These Panthers look like the 2014 version or worse.
