Cam getting a concussion was his fault

Flagged, fined and ejected for what?

it was a good play.  Cam was foolish.

you can legally hit runners helmet to helmet.  Ask Stewart how many times per game he gets cracked in the head.

I'm referring to the fact that it seems like we get flagged punitively a lot.

So turn your head just a bit and all is well.  What is frustrating is they all have reasons why they don't make any calls.

I believe to the bottom of my soul they are teaching the defends to lead with the head to take him out.  They can't tackle him so this is there way of getting him down.

Gonna be said the day Cam has had enough and leave prematurely.

I have no idea whether or not that is true.  However, using that play as an example makes it appear that you are paranoid in your protection of Newton.

If that had been Luke hitting Matt Ryan like that not only would he have been flagged, fined and likely ejected, but they'll have probably tossed out Olsen, TD and KB just for good measure. There's no way to justify this. If you wanna argue QB vs. runner I see your point but when has it EVER been legal to pop a dude in the head whether he's running or not?

im with the the guy who said there's no way to justify this if you're a Carolina fan.

And furthermore, if I were Cam hell yes I'd be nervous and off my game knowing other players are going for my head and the refs are gonna let them do it.

That wouldn't have been a penalty if Michael Jordan had been playing quarterback lol.  Your head is attached to your body and you have never been required to move your head to the sided so that your face mask doesn't make contact with the other player's face mask.

"But technically it was a clean hit by the innocent clean as the driven snow Falcon's defender because (1) Cam is a hot dog and brings it on himself and (2) the center-line of the crown of the defender's helmet was technically 78 microns off of dead center to Cam's frontal lobe center mass!  THAT'S SCIENCE!"

Its amazing to me that people have convinced themselves of this bullpoo.

I think the people saying this (me being one - although not to the extent of your exaggeration) are saying it based on the way the NFL rules are written and not because of what their personal beliefs are. It's BS that this is allowed - but it is.

He did this last year @Atlanta too, pulled up at goal line and probably got an undocumented concussion on that hit too

Then again yesterday, pulling up at goal line, just asking to get clocked

Cam was proving a point yesterday, what point, idk but in an article I read he said "a lot of people probably wanted to see that happen" - Cam is really mentally down right now and he was like fug it I'll just let him hit me

I think you're thinking of the NoLa game where he took that hit and said that in the presser afterwards.

In your defense you haven't participate in option 1 of my statement whereas if you've read this forum over the past day you've saw plenty who have.

Well, definitely not to the extent of the people you're unhappy with. I'm not going as far as saying the hit was his fault, but he didn't finish that play. I have no idea why he would do that. From where we were sitting it sure looked like he could have avoided it. But it's not his fault that dude took a head shot there.

Edit: And I get that the hit came after he crossed the line but it definitely wasn't that obvious in real time.

Yeah it was NoLa

He said the same exact thing yesterday as he said then, that he deserved it and that it will never happen again, but it happened again yesterday I don't get it

I think you heard a replay of the presser after NoLa. Cam hasn't addressed the media since he's in the protocol. I heard the same replay and thought the same thing at first.

Regardless of whether or not he said it you're right he did the same thing again. It's very odd....

And then last year vs. New Orleans he said same exact thing he said in that article

Yeah it's last year's quote. If you click on the BBR article they reference you can see it. The Fox story misquoted it.

EDIT: And he also said in this article that he believes a lot of people wanted to see that happen to him ... so since a lot of people he thinks want to see it anyway, is he like, fug it, I'll let this guy light me up, whatever ... if so, that's the sulking Cam of his early years ... we need to get Cam back to having swag

The only way to get Cam back to having this swag is making Cam trust what he has. Good luck, because I don't trust them sitting on my couch.

Idk if trolling lol but http://blackandbluereview.com/cam-newton-suffers-first-known-concussion-status-week-5-unclear/

And in that article, referenced is yesterday, along with the Mauti hit on Cam from last year NoLa

Not trolling. It's misleading. I just confirmed with Bill that Cam hasn't talked to the media since the game.

Edit: in the quote he said "that game"
