It's just very hard for me to get over not going after Prince Amukamara. He was available. He was cheap. We didn't go after him.

there were a LOT of things we didn't do. you can't tell me Vernon Davis wouldn't have made a better #2 TE than Ed Dickson this offseason for 2 million dollars.

I guess we want our backup TE to be exciting. Will he catch it or won't he? SMH

I agree we need more speed..speed that can catch...Ginn isn't reliable enough as a WR at least....KB + speed.

It should be obvious now that Brown isn't a deep threat nor is that really all that fast...he was just faster than all the slow poo we had a few years ago but compared to most DBs he ain't burning poo.

Agree, Should have went  with TE in the 1st round you help the passing game the OTs out

That is crazy talk...we had the 24th ranked passing attack last year...time to ignore that unit and focus on fixing problems that we created by letting pro-bowl talent go for hardly anything.

does Gettleman even look at rankings?

Can't argue with op too much on this, coaching can only mask so many problems....most ridiculous part is not trying to sign quality free agents or not having a back up plan for players leaving or being released.....I know there's a lot that goes into this stuff but how hard can it be to look at last season, look at our weakness from 2015, and go out and do something to improve in those areas, instead we've gotten worst at de and CB, ot is still the issue years after gross left and we basically just gave Boston the starting safety job....I just really hate multiple missed opportunities, we had a chance to be better talent wise then the team last year and we chose to be complacent

Replaced? I think DG is going to leave on his own terms, he isn't a young buck by no means.

I do believe DG will not leave without helping set us up with a great GM or something to help us in the future. I just wish we had a Browns ass load of picks for 2017, its like we need just a Ultimate Team gold pack of new players to add to the team. Look at Atlanta, they have had tons of great new young players come in this year especially for defense. Olsen only beat Neal from experience that he has, other than that neal was all over his ass.

Even with those picks, I'm not sure I trust Gettleman not trading them away because he fell in love with some project from a school I never heard of.

Well he'll have the money and the draft picks to do it

Which he will trade away for players who would fall to us anyways...we are going on 3 years behind @OT,5 @cb and about to be thin at rb and de...it's piling up...we have great depth now time to get some starting talent...not to mention TE...
