people on reddit were semi-vicious/extremely condescending for suggesting there were multiple time lines

welp

I'm not sure why. It seemed pretty obvious to me from the start. Otherwise they would have needed multiple versions of the hosts in the world at once for the timeline to make sense.

Very telling end to episode Nine. And yes, I listened and wrote all this out. It seems to have more impact when reading it, for me anyway.

"Tell me Bernard if you were to proclaim your humanity to the world, what do you imagine would greet you? A ticker-tape parade perhaps? We humans are alone in this world for a reason. We murdered and butchered anything that challenged our primacy.

Do you know what happened to the Neanderthals, Bernard? We ate them. They destroyed and subjugated our world and when we eventually ran out of creatures to dominate, we built this beautiful place. You see, in this moment, the real danger to the hosts is not me but, you. So, come on Bernard let me roll you back and we can return to work."

Pull the trigger Clementine...

Bernard using Arnold's voice saying "Robert" as Ford walks away and a slight reverie of sadness drapes across Fords face. Nice fuging touch! Hopkins is a brilliant actor.

In this thread with many theories...are they all now confirmed? lol

I'm becoming more and more convinced that white hat is the man in the black hat.  Consider that Deloris is one of the oldest hosts, and she has been rebuilt many times.  When Logan stabs open her belly to show the robotic underpinnings, that was the biggest clue.  Now in the preview for the finale, he walks through the church door to find Deloris...

I think so too but something MiB said leaves open for him being Logan.  When talking to Ford, MiB said about how he cut one open before when they were mechanical parts.  Last episode Logan cuts open Deloris stomach and shows William her mechanical parts.

Damnit that's a good point I hadn't considered.

After the episode they were in I thought MiB was Logan.  Then I saw so many people saying it was William and I thought "yeah, that makes more sense," and have been looking for clues for that.  I got excited that maybe I were right originally after that.

This is hands down my favorite show on the tube right now.

I'm almost disappointed by the notion that they are suggesting that this is the first of multiple seasons.  The "mini-series" notion of story telling is exceptionally appealing and I have great doubts that they could top this season.

That is going to be the great challenge for the show runners.  This does not feel like the type of show that is built for multiple seasons.  Of course neither did The Leftovers and season two was phenomenal.  That type of success is few and far between though.

It very well could be Logan.  William went kind of nuts after Deloris ran off.  She should be glad she did...

It's going to be very interesting to see what they do.  That all depends on how they finish up season 1.  Will Anthony Hopkins return?   It would be awesome if he did, but it just depends on how this story concludes.

Anyone have any predictions you want to get horrifically wrong?  My personal one:  We'll see that this whole thing is part of Ford's narrative about the dangers of Arnold's code, and how it needs to be replaced.  He's using Maeve and Bernard to show the dangers of true awareness in the hosts.

Man, The Leftovers is such an amazing show, it saddens me more people aren't watching it.

I am sad that there is only one more season, but I would rather have three great ones than have it dragged out and ruined

I didn't know who you were all talking about "Deloris". Then i figured out you guys mean Dolores. lol.

So the accident that happened years ago in the part was Dolores killing Arnold? That's what I gathered from the last two episodes. I'm still not sure how bernard killed the girl that found out about the information being sent out. I remember distinctly that he was talking to her about it and he was in his office. Then she is shown being strangled apparently from behind. Bernard is still talking or trying to talk to her via phone. How does he get to her so fast and does this mean that there is more than ONE bernard model?

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
