I love how this show just keeps giving me more and more things to think about.

For me, the biggest event of the show thus far is Maeve's "awakening" to her reality. The previous episode where she was sitting with the bird was nuts, then you add in her manipulation of the techs, the tour, requesting her stat change only to see that someone else is already changing things....  Man, the cat is really going to get let out of the bag.

I've noticed that there have been several instances of the hosts getting much more handsy with the guests.  From William's buddy getting beat up by the Confederate soldiers, to Maeve holding the scalpel to douchbag's throat, and finally to even black hat getting roughed up by the soldiers before Teddy goes all super hero crazy.  We hadn't seen that to this point.

Then you add in young Ford and the dog.  The voice that told him to not let it kill.  OK, I think we're seeing a robotic revolution.  I don't think the Hosts are going to put up with being treated so poorly by the guests without a "fight" so to speak.

Why is all this happening?  Arnold!  Either he has some l337 h@x0r sk!11z so that his code has been hidden for 30 years, or someone else is using his access to change things on a grand scale.  It's going to be super interesting to see what's at the end of the maze when Teddy and MiBH arrive.  Timelines be damned.

Then we get to the cooperate espionage.  What motivation does Theresa have as quality assurance to "steal" or at least covertly export data from the park?  After the prior episode's lunch with Ford, I think it has to do with Delos (the owners/investors) are trying to create a situation that will force the board to remove Ford.  Elsie will be fine I imagine.  The Delos side will try to woo her in, offer her Bernard's job when he's forced to leave with Ford.  I'm not sure she'll take it and follow through, maybe.

Ford himself enjoys his godly role in the park.  He enjoys being steps ahead of everyone in the plotting (which is encouraged), and he also enjoys the protection of all of the hosts.  They all respond to his voice first.  It's going to be quite difficult to remove him forcefully, hence all the subterfuge and spy games.  That being said, I think despite his statements that they are nothing but robots, he wants to see them become fully self aware.

When he did the whole cutting a host with Elsie and Bernard, it wasn't to prove that they were subservient.  It was to reinforce his audience's personal horror at how these nearly human creatures could be cast aside despite the cost in money and time it took to create them.

What a great show.  While there are plenty of questions, I look forward to see how the "shake up"  at the park settles.  I look forward to Ford's narrative, and how that will change the hosts and the park.  I can't wait to see at the center of the maze, a computer sitting on a desk, and it's Arnold's conscious waiting to chat.

Man this show is really great.

Here is a theory I want to throw out there after seeing the latest episode.

I noticed it before but it really stood out to me this time for some reason and that is the lower floor(s) being destroyed and in a complete state of disrepair. And it seems as if no one even cares or notices it. My sense is there was a robot rebellion before and the company just sealed it off and built on top of the old facilities. Employees are restricted to go there unless they have special clearance, so employees probably don't know what is going on. The ones that we have seen have always been armed.

The previous rebellion was alluded to, I think, when MiB mentioned to Ford how he saved the park and said something along the lines of 'if it wasn't for me this place would be closed'. Then again maybe he was speaking financially?

And why are the two lab workers named Felix and Sylvester? After cartoon cats...what is that?

And I am also curious to know if the phrase "these violent delights have violent ends" might be a trigger word of some sort for the robots. It caused a shift in Mae with her new personality and we saw somewhat similar results from Delores father and Delores herself. I wonder if it is a phrase designed to override the hosts original programming.

Also if you visit https://discoverwestworld.com and hold the shift key down there seems be an easter egg of some sort.

That's awesome. In the egg, I think he's basically saying that everything man has ever done is to just an elaborate attempt to get laid. And maybe that he sees the robots as potentially superior.

I've had similar thoughts as all of you as to who or what Arnold is. I'm still buying the White hat is the Black hat in the past until proven otherwise. Also go on Amazon and watch the trailer for the original movie. It's interesting. I've not watched it. Don't think I can sit through a 4o year old about future technology. But the trailer is interesting. I also noticed and pointed out Yul Brenner in the background in the basement.

The lower basement idea is pretty good. There was an actual keyboard at that "old" computer. I'm not sure what all is going on in this show but I know that it's the best thing on tv every week. Walking Dead is good and all but this show actually encourages me to think and not just feel.

Fantastic show. I honestly love the production of it. The Acting is superb. The story is very intriguing. I like the character development going on so far, with dolores more than anyone. it's amazing that even the little tech support  guys are getting some development. Next episode should be amazing man. I feel like something is about the break wide open and leave us in awe and mind blown status.

OH DAMN!!!!

Ddnt see that coming...

I totally didn't think that HE was a Host...but oh snap!  When he said "What door?"  My jaw just hit the floor!

Talk about some bombshells!  I think we're starting to see the unraveling of all the threads were getting built up.  I still want to know what happened to Elsie.  I totally see the William is the Man in the Black Hat happening now.  It makes sense with what he said before he took her into the barn.

What is Ford's end game?  Is it simply about control?  Or is that body being worked on his, where his consciousness is going go so he can be immortal?  Does he realize what's happening to Maeve?  Or is he the one doing it?

All the company wide politics are of no consequence to a man who has the keys to all the doors.  What is Delios going to do?  And for that matter, what is Maeve going to do.  I feel so bad for those techs.  I really feel bad for Felix.  He just wanted a promotion.  Maeve started acting up, and now he's completely controlled by her.  Nice turn about.

To me, this show has gone MUCH darker so quickly!

Yeah... The "What door?" hit like a baseball bat

I was thinking the body was a replacement for Cullen.  That she will become another pawn like Bernard.

I say that because of the way Hale told Cullen earlier in the show that there would need to be a "blood sacrifice" and then Ford said the exact same thing.
