What is worse is that at least 2 of those penalties called back touchdowns. You just can't take points back off the board.

You can not count those points as separate from the penalty. The official believed that the penalty impacted the play. You can not say the TD is scored without the penalty.

First, I want to make this perfectly clear. There is no conspiracy against the Panthers. Referee's are a hot topic right now. We are not the only team that believes the refs are against them. So let's get that out of the way right now.

Second, yes Shula, and this Offense, are a hot topic right now. But, us, as fans, really have no frame of reference. We really have no idea what is actually supposed to happen. All we see is the results, not the actual plan. Things are not going as panned right now. But, outside the team, no one knows exactly what is going wrong.

Third, Cam has a lot of control of this Offense. He may not be Peyton, but he knows this O backward and forward. It is naive to think that when Cam scans the field pre-snap, that he has all of a sudden forgotten what to do. That he has forgotten how to read a D. He is the riegning MVP, we have a top 10 D. Things will get back to normal.

Lastly, it comes down to fans. Some have the patience to see this through. Knowing we have a darn good team, and things look bright up in here. Some are not happy, and they will harp on anything they see, whether is be real, or imagined.

When you are not getting the play calls with time to survey the defense Cam can not adjust..it happen in the Superbowl and it has carried over into the season..during the season last year Cam had time to make adjustments at the line of scrimmage not this season... and as for conspiracy why were rules changed about celebrating..y have the penalties been so one sided in the games we have played. The league is making a statement..just like it did with Richard Sherman. Play callingredients. I haven't  seen any quick slants that we were admiring cam for on his accuracy this year nor were they used in the superbowl..which would have help negate the pass rush...So yeah it's all made up in the fans head..we are looking thru a different set of eyes alot of different eyes ..when you here one person cry wolf you may not believe, but when there are many you better look into it.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
