You would think we traded for this guy, or drafted him in the early rounds the way people dislike him for little to no apparent reason.

I think it's that he really adds no value to the team yet he seems to be untouchable

The Panthers released wide receiver Brenton Bersin, a league source confirmed. The move was to make room for a defensive lineman. Carolina has DT Eric Crume and DE Larry Webster on the practice squad so one could move up. Wide receiver Damiere Byrd remains on the 53-man roster and could be active.

Lombardi brought up that most of the reason Cam is getting sacked so much and the offense is lagging is because our receivers can't get separation. It is a problem plaguing the Titans as well. That was a knock on both Kelvin and Funchess entering the league, and so far that is holding true... Funchess can't make plays, and Kelvin makes plays but mostly with a player draped all over him.

Bersin is much of the same. I know this move was to promote a D-Lineman, but I would like to see the Panthers bring in a big receiver with speed. We have enough possession receivers in Kelvin, Devin, and Greg Olsen.

True.  98% of Kelvin's catches he goes down at the spot of the catch because he has a guy in his back pocket the entire time.

We needed a Ginn upgrade in the offseason.  Gentlemen pretty sat in his hands this offseason in terms of weak areas
