Cam Newton's disinterest

Well, isn't that one of the classic opening statements? I almost hate myself for continuing to read after that.

 

But...who's fault is it when Cam and the Offense cannot score? Ah, Shula's.

 

We led the league in points last year. Maybe we can forgive Gman for going Defense, considering he was getting KB back? Maybe he made a mistake taking Cam for granted, and thinking the Offense would be OK. Things are shaky right now. But most fans still believe we have a pretty dang good team.

i keep seeing you barge into topics with these histrionics.

there is no horde of idiots that thinks it's all cam's fault.  there is a very, very small minority so quit being such a drama queen.

I am really not trying to defend Shula...I really am not...about the only person that would hire Shula as OC is Les Miles...and that is because Miles still thinks it is 1938 as well...but this offense needed a massive influx of talent since Newton's 2nd year...instead, our front office continues to act like we have the most talent on offense ever and completely ignores that unit time after time after time after time.

At some point, we must act like the offense does exist. And it cannot be Cam Newton playing Superman every season. Enough is enough.

If we continue to go defense in the off-season ...we should continue to not count on the offense in-season.

Now, to be totally honest. Maybe you should look at the post below yours. It is just a matter of course with the Huddle. Some are trying to be funny, some are trying to be sarcastic, or the ones just trying to be trolly, but all, are, for various reasons, going for some semblance of pie.

 

In laymen terms. Too many pie hores ruin the topic.

The only thing I can think to say is, RR really did not have much to work with when Gman got here. We could barely field a competent team. Let alone have decent depth.

 

Now, we have a very talented team, with quality depth. We are not 2 deep at every position, but man, you have to believe we are in a much better position than we were 3 years ago.

Certainly KBJ and Funches have been the only serious Offensive picks in the last THREE years. 

But if Shula doesn't have an epiphany and realize Cam won't survive to see an influx of Offensive talent if Shula continues to expect Cam on 3rd and 3 to bull rush through a DE,LB and Safety for the first down Cam won't survive to see said Offensive upgrade.

I swear Shula has no idea what kind of rare jewel he has in Newton and continues to abuse him on Sundays.
