Is Peppers burning his bridges?

I really can't hate Peppers at all. In all honesty, I couldn't even fault him for not playing hard.

Think about it, he didn't want to be here and made that clear. He wanted to be let go or traded to a team of his choosing. Instead, we held him "hostage" by franchising him and simultaneously crippling our ability to resign existing players and sign new players. So he didn't sign the tag and allow himself to be traded wherever the team put him? We'd probably dump him on the Lions like we tried to do with Lucas.

I simply can't hate his decisions because I can't say I wouldn't do the same in his position. Ultimately the vast majority of the blame rests on the front office, who decided to mortgage the present and potentially future to keep a player that doesn't want to be here in the first place.

I used to love him - But now I hate him with a passion!!!!!! Got to believe we could spread the wealth on defense - but our stupid GM and owner can't let go of him.

he didn't tag himself......

Peppers was the only guy playing D week 1. Week 2 he had no highlight plays but wasn't the guy making mental lapses in coverage.....

I think some of you are just jealous you don't get paid as much as he does. The man played his heart out in the first game even after the game was lost....he was double teamed all day against the Falcons. Besides, what are you gonna do about it except whine like a bunch of frustrated p*ssies? What has Ware done for his Cowboys lately?

I finally watched the game again because I had it DVR'd. Im not a Peppers fan anymore but in his defense Atlanta took him completely out of the game. Matt Ryan was getting rid of the ball in 2 seconds or less and had his choice of wide @ss open receivers the whole game. No time to get any pressure or make a play. DB's need to get stiff on the freakin opponents receivers or this Dallas game is going to get ugly. The secondary play is ridiculous as we all know. Still think we have a chance though to win this game and would be just what the doctor ordered.

yep, if you go back and watch the games. Peppers always plays. You might not hear his name called EVERY week......and if he doesn't show up on the stat sheet haters complain. The games he doesn't "show up" for are ususally games that opponents have made a point to take the ONE threat up front out of the game. Not hard to do in the league.

I would love to see you spew that non sense in front of Beason or Thomas Davis for that matter. Davis had 16 tackles.

Beason had a pick.

Peppers had his sack, fumble against Kevin Kolb...lol
