I hear ya. I just think that DG and the organization puts more value on a team player. Josh is having an awesome time in Washington it appears. So, we had to focus on a corner and we landed Bradberry. 

It's still way to early but it looks like it was a wise choice for both involved. Norman got paid and has much more attention that a personality like that needs.  (in a good way) In return we got a talented, quite, hard working, chip on the shoulder, small school kid that has shown a lot of potential so far. 

Win-win

We didn't improve, we traded away draft picks, only went into the season with 3 picks. Lack depth at DE and OT and Safety. We got too complacent in a league that always changes.

Yea I think there is definitely some truth there. But, I still think we will see some nice work from Whorley and Butler as they get more experience. I watched Whorley at WVU and from the eye test he is a baller. Butler is a young gun that's already shown as a rookie he has his nose in it. Bradberry is above expectations at this point and improving.

Just sayin you can truthfully only grade the draft picks overall performance after the season is done.

If I'm not mistaken Gettleman reportedly pursued Jared Cook as the possible #2 TE so he's not against adding depth. Where does this depth at DE, OT and Safety come from? name names.

The Norman tag money was used almost immediately. Just not on KK. Coleman, Kalil and Oher all got extended with that tag money built in.

lavar edwards gonna be getting a bunch of snaps. surprised love didn't find a spot. thought he was solid enough last season as a rotational guy. not expecting anything from griffin.

Gettleman isn't a big trader, why would he start now after a super bowl appearance.

The last time the panthers were active in early free agency was 2011, so not being active in free agency wasn't new.

I actually think the Norman release was a good move. Bradberry hasn't been the problem. I think that kid is a superior athlete with better size then Norman. I'm excited to see if he fares better against Julio Jones then Norman did.
