If every player on this team played with the same fire and intensity that Beason brings on every single down, we would not be 0-2. I can definitely say that much.

I like it, he said a lot of things in that article that made me feel better and more optimistic about the Ds performance come monday.

DTs are killing it though, someones got to step up and at least just get in someones way so beason can make a play.

Something I don't quite get about Beason's comments. If Meeks' defense is a simplified version of Trgovac's, why is he having to think too much out there?

Maybe if he would start tackling ball carriers instead of bouncing off of them the D would look a little better.

Maybe Trgo did the thinking before (hence why it was more complicated). Now, it's simpler because it's left up to the players to do the thinking? So, on the outside it looks simple, but it gets complicated for the players.

I didn't read the article so I don't know the context.
