Is Atlanta a must win?

For sure.

Losing to Atlanta puts a dagger not only to the fans but the players. You can tell that is our biggest rival. I don't see a threat on our offense to their defense other than Cam.. Olsen will find a way but they have been looking for that strong safety LB hybrid for TEs to cover guys like Olsen. Tolbert will have 7 carries for 10 yards on major 3rd down plays from the ol Shula bucket list

yes . we need our confidence back if we lose this season is basically over unless our div sucks . its not looking good this season but i have seen worse 1 and 2 isnt the end of the world . just think of 2013 when we went 1 and 3 and turned it into a 12 and 4 season . our team just needs the motivation to do so.

we still have a couple of weeks to really turn the switch but i think the bread and butter of this team's continued dominance is to be the best in our division, which means every one of those games is must win. so yeah, we need to beat ATL. this streak of NFCS teams needs to be 3-0 for us.

Well, except they did manage to disrupt our offense last year in Atlanta in week 16.

I know they're nothing like Denver or Minnesota, but the truth is they did manage to keep us to 13 points when we'd been averaging at least 3 times that many points in the 5 games before and the 3 games following up until the SB.

Lots of Huddlers picked the at ATL game as a possible loss...  division rivals are always tough.  Not taking anything for granted.  We need to prepare as if this is our toughest opponent on the schedule all season.  None of this "ah it's just the NFC South, we'll be ok crap".  That my friends is complacency.

It's not a must win.  It will be week 4 on the road and the NFC South is bad.  Even at 1-3 the Panthers would still have a good chance to win the South.  I don't think we have to worry about it though.  Atlanta doesn't have the players on defense to disrupt the Panthers offense like Denver and Minnesota.

No but their offense is much better

This is absolutely a must win for us. This game honestly makes or breaks our season.

As a player on a high school football team. I find that if we lost to teams we are supposed to lose to the locker room morale is fine. We move onto the next one. Denver and in a way Minnisota were games we were supposed to lose. I include the Minnisota game because of the outside distractions and us looking by Minnisota into the 3 divisional games coming up. But when we lose to a team we are supposed to beat (Like our divisional opponents.) Then that will smell trouble with the team and we are in deep poo if we drop our first division game. We need 3-0 in these next three to get to above 500. and to kill the spirit of the other divisional teams since that will show everyone that "Carolina's back"

If we lose, expect a long season

Every game is a "must win" for a team that looks like nothing more than a shadow of its former self.

The Panthers have faced a good defense and lost, a lousy defense and won, and a better than average defense and lost again. The film is out there... just send an extra rusher. By the time the Panthers break the huddle the play clock is almost run down almost every snap and then Cam takes too long to throw it because he hasn't had the opportunity to look at what the D is showing.

8 sacks, 3 turnovers and 10 penalties? Really? This team won't win 6 games with those kind of numbers this year.

Undisciplined, unmotivated and lacking of any focus.
