Or follow Cam's lead and just set a good example in the community. What Cam does off the field is better for fixing any of these issues than what anyone else in the league does. If every player in pro sports did what Cam does, they could reach so many young people in this country and set good examples for them and keep them on the right track, which would have a much greater effect on the issue than anything else players could do.

Now, I don't really care if Boston or other guys do this protest that's been talked about, but it could very well be a distraction and frankly won't do anything to help their cause. Only reason I made this thread was to join in on the insanity in this forum. I like Tre but he's definitely not starter material. Would absolutely not want him cut because of any protest thing but would love to upgrade him. And if we could get the money sorted out with Whitner, I think our safety situation would be better with Whitner at strong and Kurt back to free. Tre is just terrible in the run game and when blitzing, which he's asked to do quite a bit. And isn't even that great in coverage. Can make some plays but will give up big ones just as much. I liked him at the end of '14 and wanted him starting over Harper last year but now I see why he wasn't. I certainly don't want Harper back but I do think Whitner would be an upgrade and he's on the street right now. Was a pro bowler as recently as 2014. Maybe he's on the street for a reason and I'm completely wrong but hey discussion is what this place is for.

Tre is a back-up forced to start. The team has been hoping he could take that next step, but unfortunately, that hasn't happen on a consistent basis quite yet. He surely is not the "Hot Garbage" folks are saying. But finding someone to start over him would make us better. And I am all for that.

 

But he has absolutely done nothing to warrant being cut on such short notice.

 

Man, I wouldn't want Gman's job. Cuz after today it sounds like he needs to replace a poo ton of people. I guess no one is safe after a loss. It's the WRs fault. No, it's the Olines fault. No it was the Dlines fault. No it was Cams fault. No it was Shulas fault. No, it was Ron's fault. And for heavens sake, let's not forget the refs.

 

Fire everyone. Burn the joint down and start over. Just do it by next week mkay?

 

C'mon folks. There is a whole lot of football left. If you trust this team, just sit back and enjoy the ride. If you don't trust this team, I hope you like rollercoasters. Cuz I can almost guarandammtee we will lose another game this year. Maybe more. Oh the humanity.

It's his first year being "the man" I'm going to give him a little more time to learn and grow before I want to pull the plug on him. Takes time to get comfortable knowing your roles and responsibilities, takes some time and experience to get where you want to be. 

He seems to have the tools.
