What was the largest issue today?

The Question

Recommended Posts

Failure to or (refusal to) adjust on either side of the ball.  If the OT's can't hold a pass rush for bore than 2 seconds - then why the hell are you running long pass routes?  If you look back at this team the past 2 years, we have far more success by picking an opposing defense apart underneath and running gash plays.  yes, the long ball does happen, but they are set up by carving a defense from short to mid range.

On the defense - if you can't get a pass rush - then be willing to blitz

the thing I hate the most about this coaching staff is the tendency to play NOT to lose - which always leads to us losing.

The biggest problem is the coaches with game plans aimed at winning close games. This team is built to attack on offense and defense. Use it. 30+ points scored is a must. If the coaches do not plan for that, then it is on them.

We know the offense can do it if the coaches do not hold them back.

Playing from behind and burning the clock does not favor the way the Panthers are built.

First off, no I don't think the sky is falling and I don't think these issues are unsolvable within the next couple weeks but after being a fan for 14+ years this is one of the more disappointing losses I can remember.

They have to be solved NOW. The Panthers are headed into 3 straight weeks of division games. If they are not solved now, and fans are okay with losing a couple of them, then those fans are okay with a losing season too.

Teams that fail to go 5-3 in their first 8 games do not win the SB. Look it up. The Panthers must go 4-1 against the @Falcons, Bucs, @Saints, Cards, and @Rams.

SB or bust.

Lets see under thrown passes to Ginn multiple times that led to interceptions..Then stones hands by Ginn when hit.. Special Teams is not very Special, they sucked.. No pressure on Defense..soft zone playing or the secondary was out of position.. The Coaching staff Under-estimated the Vikings and failed to adjust.. the whole team looked flat..not sure if the riot stuff played an issue.. but your job is football not  a politician!!

Honestly I feel a lot of the offensive woes fell on cam not getting the ball out quick enough. I don't think Cam really throws the ball before the wr is truly open which is different from someone like big ben who'll throw the ball before the wr even looks back. It might be a trust issue, but that extra secomd or two it takes to throw the ball really hurts us on the deep throws imo. Today it looked to be worse than usual though, maybe that injury early in the game affected him more than we thought?

The entire team has lost its edge

flattest i've seen them in the cam newton era. i'm not sure some of it isn't the personality drain... between norman, tillman, and allen, we lost a whole lot of fire and veteran leadership. none of those guys would've looked flat today.

young dudes need to step up.
