Same story DE and OT..

I'm all in for Hardy signing like yesterday, what we have now is not even serviceable, it's pathetic. Charles Johnson is a rotational player at this point in his career. Its so bad Edwards who just signed off a practice squad looks like our best DE! It's over for CJ. Get Hardy in the building!

the pass rush will look bad when you face three teams in a row that are just throwing quick passes to avoid the pass rush... the vikes weren't doing that in the first half and paid the price. we were killing them and got two sacks. then they start dinking and dunking in the second half and there was nothing the DLine could do.

something we should consider adopting considering oher and remmers look bad against good edge rushers and we have the size at receiver to win on slant/curl routes...

Only time we got pressure on the quarterback was when we blitzed. DE is a struggle and we have no answers. OT I cannot blame simply because the Vikings blitzed over and over and Mike Shula had no answer for it. He called long route plays and runs right up the middle much of the day. I dislike him as a coordinator and never have trusted him to call the right plays in games. Cam Newton should of had quicker passing plays and more trickery.

back when we had cap trouble, i always pointed out how the teams going into the seasons with unspent cash were always the worst teams in the league.

now we have 24 million dollars just sitting there.

Look, I hate to keep harping on this, but it doesn't really matter if you "believe in windows" or not. In the salary cap era, they exist and there's nothing that can be done about it.

This team went 15-1 last year and had a rare opportunity to actually improve themselves given the crop of talent available in the draft and free agency. instead we cut the best CB in the game for no reason other than ego and used 3 draft picks drafting for need to try and bandage that up.

with the core of this team being pretty old they should've gone all in, but they didn't and now the window may just close while we toot our horn with an unrivaled gusto about how we "don't believe in it."

it doesn't appear that this team is as strong as last year's and that falls exclusively at Gettleman's feet.

Half the sacks today were on cam though. He held on to the ball wayy to long, especially on that safety. The other half though were absolutely terrible in the fact that the blitzing man was either left unblocked or oher let the guy go right by em.

he had the choice to either hold the ball until someone got open with Shula's deep-ball playcalling, or throw a pick.

today looked like Cam and Shula were at war. you could see how unhappy Cam was all throughout the game. he was standing there with 10 seconds left on the playclock looking to the sideline with anger on his face still waiting on the call to come in. then when it came in it was garbage.

Wrong you dumbass. I watch every game with 3 members of my family and have been married 29 years. Yeah, I piss them off too.

I'd hope Cam has enough pull to get him fired....or maybe he can go prove what we already know as a HC somewhere else.

Coulda had Norv Turner man....coulda had the Vikings coaching staff for that matter but they kept Rivera who, after his contract, has gone back to poo stain brain Rivera.
