Get rid of shula

We have a good front offensive line.  No line can hold up when the QB waits 7 seconds to throw the ball.

I really don't understand why everyone is all over our OTs. It's not all their faults. You can't drop back 10 yards and sit there and not expect the pass rush to get to you after 4 or 5 seconds. Oher and Remmers aren't world beaters, but play calling leaves something to be desired. Plus Cam has to learn to step up and get rid of the ball instead of taking the sack - although the play calling may not allow him to do that.

I just can't understand how an NFL OC can not get Kelvin Benjamin or Devin Funchess open all game.

It's becoming clear

Shula doesn't know how to handle KB, a star receiver

It all makes sense from last year to this year. Teams wasn't doubling a single player cause we had nobody that scared defenses. Vikes today kept a good DB and safety help on KB and Shula weakness is he doesn't know how to adjust so this is the result. We struggled through most of 2014 with KB, yup

Is anyone going to say Cam played bad?  Or is it just the thing to blame Shula and say Cam can do no wrong?   I didn't get the offseason memo just asking.

Maybe you didn't get the off-season memo where this same OLine got taken to the woodshed on the biggest stage and our genius GM decides to dump his entire draft into the defense while getting his MVP zero additional help. And a coming off a season ending ACL KB doesn't count.

The weak link is shula.  The plays called take too long to develop.  We have excellent players on offense.  Time to either get rid of shula or Ron interferes with the play calls.  I'm pissed!

In the Age of the Pass, where the NFL has determined that breathing on a WRs neck is "pass interference"...

Ron Rivera and Mike Shula believe the path to long term success in the NFL is running the ball 67% of the time.

Shula has no sense for the game of football.  Whatever is happening on the field, the emotion and tide of the game doesn't matter to him.  For Shula, they're just a bunch of robots out there ready to execute 010 or 101.  He's a spoiled kid who got to grow up around the game and lives of his dad's legacy.  He doesn't deserve to be an OC by any stretch of the imagination.  The players have made him look good.  Time will prove that games are won at the top, and opposing defensive coordinators will tear Shula's offense up.

At this point, it's a crap shoot whether we will win.  Will the dominoes fall our way?  And can we hold on for the win if they do?  Otherwise, it's a loss.  What sucks about this coaching staff is that NOTHING changes.  Absolutely fuging nothing changes.  It's the same old same old, and you can see the ebb and flow of the team.  It's pathetic and no way to run a professional football team.

I don't think Cam calls audible plays anymore..

@josephperson: Cam Newton on Kelvin Benjamin: "For him not to have any touches is baffling."

Well, one thing about "audibles" is that the options he has are the options that the OC *gives him* on a particular play.

He just doesn't get to the line and pull a different play out of his hat.

Also all those up the middle runs that did NOTHING but waste downs.

And the weird thing is that I think CAP and Fozzy did a pretty darned good job today considering.

But when the gameplan seems to be "We're going to win this thing off of the strength of our back-up running backs!" instead of "Maybe we should do everything we can to allow our MVP QB to be successful" well, then...
