I've heavily, HEAVILY criticized him in the past and again today.  After having the #1 offense in the league last year, it's too early to jerk the rug out from under him, but Ron needs to sit his ass down and make him understand that he's not going to continue to sit back and watch his complete inability to make in-game adjustments.  When the pass rush starts getting home, we HAVE to adapt and focus on drawing up play calls focused on getting the ball out quicker.  The answer isn't keeping more guys in to protect and leaving yourself with no checkdown options due to that.

Somebody important to this franchise clearly doesn't understand situational football and I'm sick of it. This has been going on for years and I am sick of it. There needs to be a witchhunt for whomever it is, because it's nauseating.

I dropped a couple hundred for the MNF game in a couple weeks, and I'm extraordinarily tempted to put that cash back in my pocket and put it to better use. Granted, we kind of all knew deep down this was poised to happen this year (windows are reality of the sport that can't be waved away if you think you're Mr. cool guy for not believing in them) but i really, really hoped this team would it in itself to overcome when faced with adversity and poor personnel decisions. The team has never, at any point, done that, so don't think I care to invest a couple hundred more in them.

pissed about a game? must be a sad life. I promise life outside of football goes on. These threads are pathetic.

It's a forum. How are you seriously going to shitpost about someone making a thread and then talk about getting a life? Look at your post count lol.

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
