Announcer did say it was a sell out but its pretty clear from the TV there are plenty of empty seats

It's one of those "false" facts.

They have "sold out" 140 straight home games. That dates back to 2007-2008. Do you think they really sold out in 2010 when we were 2-14 (no cause I went to those games and it was a joke)

Because of PSL's the panthers will never not "sell out" for a very long time. They won't "blackout" because the game isn't sold out etc. Its why PSL model is becoming popular when teams build new stadiums due to the fact that they "sell out" even if you don't show up.

Edit: I actually did my math wrong...I did it with 16 games a year and not 8....so that actually dates back to 2000 which is even more bull lol

    • that's the one & only game Bryce Young has ever won on the road as a starting Qb in the NFL...just saying  1-16
    • I'm simply pointing out how fast everyone is to judge QB's and blame all the Panther's ills on their play while completly ignoring the coaching/development staff.
    • lol.  3rd quarter - The Cardinals were up 24 points and Carolina got to touch the ball once.  Here is what the Cards set up for them in the 3rd quarter to eat clock.   run TE checkdown TE checkdown run run  run RB check down TE checkdown  run TE checkdown incomplete TE checkdown run now they finally arrive end at the 4 yard line and finally hits a WR , and he hits Renfrow in the endzone.   THAT is not asserting your will.  That's not NFL QB play.  That is the Cardinals allowing a bad team to bleed the clock and take up the entire quarter.
