Slow start to another season, turnovers, poor communication, poor special teams play. and dumb penalties.

Dunno. Several of those were on Cam but it's hard to say "only six of those sacks were on the O-Line."

I disagree.  Points are really the only stat that matters, and in that regard, the defense played well enough to win.  Vikes got 2 points off a safety, a special teams td, and a fieldgoal when they started on our side of the field after a Newton interception.  13 offensive points allowed by the defense and 3 of those due to an interception.  That should be good enough for a win.

Shula is definitely the problem but Ron is too loyal and he won't let him go.

If the offense keeps going 3 and out, how can anyone expect the defense to execute?

Bills fired Greg Roman for the same reason and they went on to dominate Arizona today.

We are not a good team.

We have the best defensive player in the league and a top-five talent at QB, WR and TE. But make no mistake: this team is not good. The holes we have are massive and the patches to fix them are either unavailable or were ignored until it was too late. 

The offensive line makes the Panthers' 1999 OL -- which is forever memorialized by being set in cement right after you walk in the gate and just before you grab your program which always has Ryan Kalil on the cover -- look like The Hogs. The kicker has apparently been hypnotized into thinking he's Scott Norwood and every big kick is to win the Super Bowl. The offensive coordinator looks at what schemes will work best against that week's defensive front, writes them down, then throws them in the trash and jacks off to A.J. McCarron's girlfriend or wife or whatever.

Yeah I have no issue with the defense THIS WEEK. Now when they give up 38 next week and the offense scores 33, I'll be more pissed at them. Nothing on this team is consistently positive except 59 and 88
