This is so true. Thats why I believe that the media agitates the drama too. The night before national media started covering this, it wasn't violent to my understanding. The media wants you to believe that we're all out here rioting and looting and burning down the city. Then there's some millennials who think this behavior is okay. All of that takes away from the cause.

the media didn't even show up until they heard some poo went down the first night.  then when they do show up they overdramatize it to the fullest.  i wouldn't be surprised in the least if they pay folks to get rowdy.

Are you really comparing this to MLK?

This is like the opposite of MLK's dream.   This is a group that wants to be judged on the color of their skin...opposed to the contents of their character.  ...Hence...why more and more schools are offering segregated housing.......and the BLM list of demands wants a segregated political system.....punishment system,  education system...  etc..

I'm glad MLK is not around.            .  after listening to a lot of his speeches,  would break my heart to hear today's society refer to him as an uncle tom that's in the way and not helping.

Many are paid protestors. 70% of those arrested the first night were from out of town. George Soros funds a lot of the protesting.

They have paid agitators, some people say. I believe it because these situations start out peaceful and everybody has the same goal. Then it goes haywire. The media does hype these things and people play into it.

Ive gone through 11 pages and only saw about 3 football posts before this poo went to poo.

Can we all enjoy what brings us together, the Panthers, for the next few hours and stop fighting with each other?

After the game is over you guys can go sling it out at the tinderbox.

what else did you think a protesters plan on blocking the gates thread was going to turn into?

Maybe reports from stadium on travel and any issues.

The travel from my couch to my fridge is all clear......                  I gave my tickets away a couple of days after that shooting.. ............I assumed most were going to do the same,  rather than deal with that mess.

Protests about racial inequality? Check

Discussion about peaceful protesting? Check

Reactions to violent protests? Check

Trying to have a national discussion about the effects of systemic and institutional racial injustice? Check

Seems like a pretty apt comparison minus the unifying national leader.

Oh brother.
