Surprised he'll only be out 4-6 weeks, that seems quick... of course I forget he isn't human.

The meniscus trim, which he is getting instead of the full repair, actually has a very quick recovery time. 4-6 weeks is the norm for it. The repair takes 4-6 months. He might regret in 10-20 years but he'll be back at 100% pretty quickly.

OK, so it's just a trim of what's torn then?  Does that not leave him open to a complete tear should he injure it again?  I'm not familiar with this surgery at all.

giphy.gifI respected AD at one point...., I wanted the Panthers to draft him back when....who did we get instead?

He's just trying to get back because he knows his career is over.

That was 2007 so I believe we took Jon Beason. If that's right then AP was gone long before we picked.

I don't even know why he's still playing since 2014  at all and we have to pretend like he didn't even do anything

It leaves him open to arthritis when he gets older. He's not anymore susceptible to an ACL tear than he was before.
