That's an assumption. If I am wrong I haven't seen it.

My opinion is that he really doesn't get why people don't get the fug over it and EVERYONE treat each other like human beings.

You do realize that's the whole reason why Kaepernick is sitting, right? Not to disrespect America or the Troops, but so others will treat each other like human beings..

This is a possibility that might explain Kap's wide eyed, petrified deer in the headlight expression. lol

Although if it was after the game, then I guess not.

I can't wait for your first post that you call a player a thug in.

You like that " You do realize".

I most certainly do realize.

My problem is the perceived disrespect to the people that gave ALL of us our freedoms.

Black, white, yellow, red, brown men and woman that put it all on the line, and made the ultimate sacrifice.

If Cam feels the same as Kaep, I still love the hell out of him. I believe he is smarter than Kaep and will use a more unifying protest, as that's the point.

People could question Kaeps motivation, he picked a terrible way to unify, if as you said...

Are they saying there is contention between the two? I could see how they might think that but you're right, still frames mean nothing...usually.

Also Kaep's hair is ridiculously awesome. Like the kind of awesome a 3rd string QB spends hours getting just right because...hold this clipboard.

It's his "I'm black enough" move.  Same with the cornrows.  I bet his BLM girlfriend spends a lot of time sitting on the steps with him getting that poo right.

It bums me out to see that so many people don't get it and allow themselves to be duped by heavy handed marketing and spin. I've always hated Colin Kaepernick as a player, and probably always will, but the grief he's catching for speaking his mind, peacefully and respectfully mind you, is especially troubling.

I rolled my eyes when I first heard about this, and attributed it to douchiness and the fact that his girlfriend is an activist. Now that I've seen the lengths people will go to in order to smear him and what he's actually saying, it's like they're making his point for him.

I had the strangest feeling on Sunday at the game. I always stand for the anthem and put my hand over my heart, but on Sunday, when I was instructed to do so by the disembodied voice of the announcer, I really didn't want to anymore. That made me really angry, because I love our country, but I don't want to be told how to act. Compulsory patriotism is not real patriotism, it's fascism.

If he was sitting to protest the fact that black on black crime has decimated black communities throughout this country the same side that thinks hes an asshole would be pumping their fist at how awesome he is and the side that thinks hes some fuggin patriot would be telling him to keep his opinions to himself just like they did The Golden Calf of Bristol.  its all so fuggin predictable.
