If that were our only weapon like Detroit that might be fine. But if you double KB, you have Funchess and Olsen who are 6'4" and 6"5" respectively and might be better than KB. That is the problem defending us. We have multiple weapons and most teams have to choose what they give up.  Go to a nickel and we run over you. Keep in the linebackers and we throw all day on you.

Lol. These kitties are feeling themselves. I dont thin funchess is there just yet. Certainly, your offense is similar to GBs, when they are cooking. We will see what we cook up. I dont think ur in beatable. We're going to spy Cam with Barr and strap up everyone else. Smith is coming to lay wood on Sunday.

I'd argue that your secondary might be the new Legion of Boom. Your DL isn't that great but your LBs very solid and athletic.

Our D line is probably the best part about our defense.  Griffen is one of the best DE in the league, Hunter is probably the brightest rising star in the league at DE.  Linval Jopseph and Sharif Floyd in the middle are very good (when Floyd is healthy).  And our depth guys are good playmakers too, Tom Johnson aka Sebastian Thunderbucket.

I saw the breakdown above. I just don't see it personally. I'll give you Linval and Griffin but Floyd, Robinson and Hunter? We'll see. I haven't been too impressed with them based on small samples. The mere fact that bigger RBs can average 4.4 ypc is not impressive. Sacks will come and go but I haven't seen your DL continuously get pressure and hit the QB.

A lot of that is scheme. Our Zimmer prefers controlled rushes by the Dline. It's the reason why DLinemen like Michael Johnson in his scheme never had crazy sack numbers. Their jobs are to play rush then pass.

No our offense is much different than Green Bay.  They are a passing team that runs occasionally.  You can stop the run and make them one dimensional.  We are a running team with a great passing attack.  Our offense was number 1 last year and we are better than we were last year.  You are going to have to outscore us because you wont stop us.  We love contact and want you to strap it up.  We are the most physical team you will face on both sides of the ball.  Remember you came here talking crap, we didnt come to your forum.  After Sunday you will know what we already do.  We havent lost a game at home in over a year.  we wont lose this Sunday either to a Viking team with a pretty pedestrian offense and a good defense.

Relax, I'm not talking crap sir. Just letting you know. If you think you are dropping a boatload of points on this defense you are mistaken. It's going to be a low scoring game. 25 points tops, If you hit 25 we have gotten beat pretty badly. We haven't had a teams score over 17 on us in 8 straight game (I think). Great offense meets great defense. Our biggest issue is our offense and the recent blows we have suffered. I have been on record saying I am leaning 60/40 to your team.

You can't take much solace from beating us in 2014. Cam was hurt much of the season and the difference was largely 2 blocked punts both returned for TDs. This time Cam is healthy and Andy Lee is a probowl punter. And we won't be playing on a frozen field in God forsaken Minnesota but in the warm and friendly confines of BOA.  We are good for 30+ points at home. If you score another 17 this week you won't be winning this time.

Just read that we have averaged, yes AVERAGED, 40.4 points per game over our last seven home games. Would love a fact checker to look into it but that is greatest show on turf unreal type poo there.

Good for 16th all time in a season.

Yeah we averaged 30 which is good for 16th over all.   If we averaged 40 over the course of a season it would be the greatest of all time.

Correction:

My mistake..that was wrong.  I pulled up the wrong link .

http://www.sportingcharts.com/stats/nfl/all-time/most-points-scored-by-an-nfl-team-in-a-season.aspx

That's total points per season.  Have to look some more for home scoring average over a season.

We havent scored less than 30 at home in the last 8 or 9 games.  We scored 20 on Denver in their house and yes Denver is better on defense than the Vikings.  If you dont control the clock and limit our chances the Vikings are in for a long afternoon.  The reason we scored a ton on San Francisco is that they gave us a ton of possessions.  Denver controlled the clock and dinked and dunked all day which limited our chances to have the ball.  That is how you beat us.
