Silly reason to leave a team, I guess your one of those that believe those "boys" should  keep there mouth shut and play ball, Murica!!!!......Whatever floats your boat though, just don't expect me to roll out the red carpet..

Another poster insinuating racism because they think only white people are opposed it. Funny stuff.

If you want politics, turn on any of the number of channels dedicated to it. Believe it or not there are people other that get tired of the disrespect to the country some players are showcasing. And the 9/11 protesters are even worse. That moment was for the victims and victims families, but they wanted to make it all about them.

Also I find it funny you assume the poster is white. A lot of black people also oppose what the players are doing. So if you want to insinuate someone is racist, you should look in the mirror.

I'm a life long Dolphins fan who has suffered through 30+ years of mediocrity, frustration, anger, shattered hope, and low expectations. I never imagined that I would switch my team. I'd stuck with them this long, right?

But after the antics of Arian Foster and Kenny 'Take Knee, Drop Easy TD Passes' Stills and the other jerks, I was on the fence. But a week ago, I was wearing my Dolphins hat, and I encountered an old man wearing a WWII Veterans hat, and he glared at me. That started to push me off the fence, but what sealed the deal was when I got home, I read that Miami's owner, Stephen 'I Have No Idea What I'm Doing' Ross came out in support of what the players did.

As far as I'm concerned, this isn't about free speech. The players are there to play football. Its their job. If you, me, or anyone else got in their customer's faces and went on a political rant, we'd lose our job, and rightfully so. Maybe they should concentrate on playing football, rather than causing distractions for a bottom feeding team. In the Seattle game, Stills dropped a TD pass that was put right in his hands. He was wide open, and there was nobody near him for 15 yards. He catches it, Miami beats Seattle. Yesterday, during their attempt at a comeback, he dropped another wide open TD pass. That would have tied the game. I didn't watch that game. I was too busy watching Carolina.

So, why Carolina? I lived in Charlotte for several years, Fayetteville for 2 years, and SC for about 6 years. I was in Charlotte when the Panthers went to their first Super Bowl, and I adopted them as my #2 team. Each year, I'd watch more and more of their games, and I'd root for them over anybody unless it was Miami. I've been to more of their games than any other team other than Miami...although in 2009, they played Miami. I was there for that one, but I've seen them play the Falcons twice, once in Charlotte, once in Atlanta. Also saw them play the Giants and Saints. Every game that I saw them play live, they won...except for 2009.

So, I have history with them. Over the past few years, it seemed more like I had 2 teams. An AFC and an NFC team. But, now that I've made the switch, its permanent. I won't be doing it again, even if Carolina goes through a bad slump..I watched every game in 2007 when the Phins went 1-15. I was disappointed in Miami for allowing this crappy behavior, now I could care less. Screw them, and Go Panthers! Glad to be here.

Welcome aboard man. Here's what our QB does during the anthem!

I went through 1-15, along with 4-12, 5-11, and too many 6-10 and 7-9 seasons to count. This wasn't about performance. It was more about not wanting to represent an organization that cares more about getting Super Bowls hosted and B list celebrity endorsements, and promoting team distractions than putting a winning team on the field. lol

I live in Viera and work in Melbourne.  Welcome to the Huddle....hit me up and maybe we can hit the bar and watch a game or two.

Nope...When the team is on the field, they are on the fan's time. That is their job. Like I said, if you, me, or anyone else did something like this, we would be fired. Those jerks should be no different. With their stardom, it shouldn't be any problem to organize a rally to actually discuss their issue with people, rather than a symbolic gesture. But, that would require effort. If they want to become political activists and get paid to do it, they should go work for CNN or a known activist...But I seriously doubt they would be ok with the pay cut. ;)

I dont mind new fans such as kids, or fans who are new to the game...

but this is the kind of fan that pisses me off. A lot of us have suffered through shitty times as panther fans and we are finally seeing what we all wanted to see. Now this guy and a bunch of other fans are hopping ship, taking the easy way out, dude fug that poo

dude, you are the definition of a banwagoner. I have no respect for you as it pertains to football or fan hood. I bet you hop off the banwagon the second the trend points down.

Can you post that one picture you were posting for a while. I want to see it again since I only vaguely remember it in my head but can't find it.

Sounds like a plan...I'll let you know when I'm going to a sports bar to watch a game. I've watched both games at home so far, and haven't found a place yet to go yet. Frankies only has 4 TVs on at any given time, so it won't be there. I just moved back last year. Was in Fayetteville prior to coming back to FL.

Well im not going to sit here and say anything bad the more fans the Carolina panthers get the better for them but what makes times like these great for a fan is when you go thru the bad years and the stupid play calls and just plain out losing every sunday it sucks!

But then when you start drafting better and start winning games and divisions every year back to back to back and going to the playoffs and then the super bowl it makes it great and you can enjoy it more because you knew how it felt when you seen other teams doing it and you wish that your Carolina panthers could do that.

I guess you just got to pay your dues.

So you're switching teams because of a bunch of players who won't even be on the team in a few years? SUREEEEEEEEE

Did you read my posts? This was more about their OWNER!

I'm 43 years old. I'm sure some of the people here are older than me, or at least old enough to remember an NFL where the Jaguars and Panthers didn't exist. Who was your team then?

Welcome aboard...in order to take over the world we need all the people we can get. Gonna convert em 1 at a time if we have to.

Cam dances btw...just in case you're a soccer mom or something from TN that talks about black skinned fellers like they are some sort of invasive species.
