I didnt grow up in NC, but did get stationed there coincidentally.  I grew up a Panthers fan and there were a couple times where I wondered if I was a phaggot for liking a team in a state I am not from.  I just have followed the team since 96 and know all the players and the coaches and it doesnt go away.  

 

I think this guy will have the same issue with ditching the Dolphins.
