Where do they find a pass rush?

Bradford holding on too long a couple of those. It is true about broncos and 49ers, they are attacking with quick passes and it's working. Not the whole game plan but a large part.

Regarding trade options, I'll repeat this name- clowney.

Lazy, injury prone, underachiever.  And what exactly are the Texans, the clear favorite now to win their division and favored to beat the Pats to go 3-0, going to take for a guy they took #1 overall?  FAT chance.

Why the hell would the Texans trade Clowney when he is actually starting to look like the complete stud he was projected to be?

You guys answered the question, (all tho I said trade for him in the off season). His value is up and before it gos back down, move him. He is lazy, injury-prone and Dave could use that to lower their demands. Home cooking, going to 4-3 DE rather than 3-4, and getting out of JJs' shadow could benefit panthers. Not like I believe this will happen, just a old thought.

No chance.  If the AFCS division standings were flipped on their head and if the "secret" that we're desperate for DE help wasn't out, you'd have at least a starting point.  Right now-Nein

Why would they trade him? And even if they would why would we want to give up more than a 1st?

Top offensive performances

LT Joe Staley, 84.1

C Daniel Kilgore, 81.6

RT Trenton Brown, 79.5

LG Zane Beadles, 77.5

RG Andrew Ziller, 77.4

Clean sweep of top grades for San Francisco offensive line

With all five starting lineman earning the top grades on offense for the 49ers, the strength of this offense is evident. A mauling run blocker with athleticism to match, LT Joe Staley is one of the NFL’s best O-linemen. He allowed just a solitary hurry in 42 dropbacks. Combined, the starting offensive line allowed just six pressures. In addition, four of the five up front earned run-blocking grades of at least 74.6. An offense severely lacking talent can at least be confident of its production in the trenches.

We have gone up against two of the top offensive lines in football and this has made our D-line look average.

He's coming off miro-surgery and doesn't fit 3-4 well as 4-3. His stock is high as it's been since being 1st overall. The value part is a huge question, no clue. I bet if you asked around you'd get vastly different opinions. Bill came form bill and he traded cjones, I don't know want type of deal his crew is wanting. They need a ILB after cushing got hurt. But like I stated, this was a offseason suggestion. And anything I state giving reason for Texans making the trade, looks bad for the panthers..... Put it this way, I'd buy clowney if his stock is somewhat low overall.

Zero pass rush from the DE position. Double teaming Short leaves Star one on one to get the QB. Thats been the pressure so far. These rookie corners will get toasted without a pass rush, wait until they play a top QB. What is the answer....is there an answer two games in?

I think missing Big Frank and J-No (for coverage sacks,) has a lot to do with it.

All I know, is that this we need Ealy to step-up.
