Where do they find a pass rush?

Probably not gonna find an end out there that can do what some here want. The hope is to keep scoring a bunch of points and let the young secondary earn their stripes.  They are bound to get better and haven't been flat out embarrassed yet, save Worley a few times.  Bradberry has shown a lot of promise in my opinion.

And the defense wan't bad today.  The 27 pts doesn't look great, but look at the box score.  ~300 yards given up, like 7 pts that didn't come off TOs, Gabbert with less than 7 yards per attempt, 2 sacks, 2 ints, their run game averaging 2.5 ypc.  That's a defensive effort most NFL teams would be gaga over.  If the Panthers have just two TOs instead of the four, then the score is closer to a 30 point differential, if not more, and people's tune would be quite different around here tonight.

Oh, there's a DE out there that will do what we want.  2013-more pressure than any team in the league in three decades and the #2 D in the league that year with a crappier secondary than now.

Nice name.

And he'll just waltz in here after not playing with any team at all this year and be back to that 2013 form

Well, he was forced to sit 21 games and did this right off the bat to Tom Brady (and stud LT Nate Solder)

in the "this is Gross" interview where Gross called him very smart, a great guy, etc., like a prophet he said Hardy Jr (while only 25) wouldn't even peak until 28 or 29.  He just turned 28.

He's been working out with premier trainer Pete Bommarito in Florida.  He's ready to rock.

you guys who think that Hardy will ever step foot in BOA after how badly he embarrassed the entire organization are special kind of stupid.

Perception vs reality.  Perception is embarrassing the franchise.  Reality is having an A1 Misdemeanor charge dropped while CAP has a court date for one next month.

I think yall are overreacting. It's early. As the season goes on, I think we'll see Ealy/CJ/Addison ramp up the pressure. Not to mention we have a lot of solid DB/LB blitzing schemes that work well. Also Butler has shown some great signs early.... He could be a real force before it's over at blitzing from the interior. Be patient. We're not going 16-0, but I would be shocked if this team isn't 11-5 or 12-4 and a 1 or 2 seed. Our offense is even better than last year.

It didn't last year and was one of our major problems last season. On top of that KK has underperformed so far.

the obvious answer is that they should have drafted someone. But who dares question david gettleman!

But we needed another pass rushing DT, 3 CBs, and a TE in the draft.

This past draft was rich in DE talent, and the Panthers walked away with nothing.

BPA is always the way to go, or maybe not.

I am sure we can find a steet free agent DE like McClain and Finnegan later in the season.

Dodd did have a sack yesterday, but then again Butler had a sack vs Denver.

Ogbah has 3 tackles, one pass breakup, and no sacks.

Hard to know how they're doing otherwise without knowing schemes and/or watching every play.

Those are the only names that were available in the reasonable conversation here that MAY be better picks than Butler and/or have year 1 impact.  Doubtful, but may.  The rest is hot air.
