Where do they find a pass rush?

Zero pass rush from the DE position. Double teaming Short leaves Star one on one to get the QB. Thats been the pressure so far. These rookie corners will get toasted without a pass rush, wait until they play a top QB. What is the answer....is there an answer two games in?

We knew it was a weakness last season and we did nothing to address it in the draft. Other solution is to blitz and pray the pressure gets there in time.

Having to constantly blitz to get any type of pressure is asking a lot from our young secondary

A lot of that can be attributed to Blaine Gabbert... don't act like our pass rush doesn't concern you at all

Our defense isn't like last year. DE needs to be addressed, but we're a lot better off than a lot of NFL teams out there. I think we'll be fine for the most part. Won't be surprised to see a DG trade coming up soon.

 

I feel the Huddle is overreacting too much over these games. First few games last year were close games, this time we're getting that 30+ points bracket much sooner.

We literally gave them 17 points and still won by 19. But when we play good teams, zero pressure ain't gonna cut it

Jared Allen played most of his career in a 4-3, and was playing on an 0-3 team with a big salary that had thrown in the towel,. Try and find a team/player that will be willing to do the same for an active sacks leader and you'll wind up with **** in hand.

Release the Kraken or get used to the same.  Pure and simple.

Giving them the ball on the 1 and patty-caking that TE down the field for 2 easy TDs makes it seem closer than it was, and that's even with the slow start. Not saying pass rush can't be improved, because it can, but after a slow start the team performed well.

Dline will probably be addressed in both draft and free agency. We need a replacement for CJ and another guy to increase the quality of depth but I was pleased that the Dline was able to stop the run and Star had a sack.
