KB Appreciation Thread

We have some seriously fickle people here. Some argued he was more like a #2 WR, and had less of a ceiling than Funchess. That was just earlier this year. Of course no one is saying that now.

Should have been on board all along. Those of you that were, kudos. Others...welp.

Every player in the NFL is capable of making occasional great plays. David Tyree made one of the greatest catches in the history of football but he was short-lived in the NFL. A big part of what separates the good and great players from the JAGs is consistency. For a WR, that means consistently getting open and consistently catching the balls that come your way.

It's still early in Funchess' career and everyone knew he was raw coming out of college so I'm not giving up on him by any means. But, so far, I gotta say... he looks like a JAG.

I have to disagree with you on this one.

There are only so many plays that can be made, even the way Cam spreads it around.

I think Funch was only targeted 3 times and 1 of them was out of bounds and not his fault.

He and Ginn are 2 and 2a, not counting Olsen.

I like to compare KB to Brandon Marshall. Great hands and uses his body to his advantage very well. He's heavier than Marshall I'm sure but they are very similar in how they play.

I think KB is more physical. I liken him to Shannon Sharpe with a little more athleticism and verticality.

It's like he played an entire year, got even better, and is now primed for the traditional breakout third season.

He hasn't lost a step, he's gained one.

Yea seems that way to me too.

If everything keeps progressing for him, he may look back and see that his injury was a blessing in disguise. You have to imagine he's been playing football every year for 14/15 years.

Being able to take a step back and get a new perspective on your career can do wonders.
