if Fox gets fired...

He could be a D coordinator.....Ron Meeks has been employed for years.....he really doesn't bring much. If a HC wants to run a fairly safe and conservative D...Fox wouldn't be a bad guy as a DC. I don't see him jumping right into another HC gig right away.

Fox would be a head coach on another team moments after we fire him. That's if he's fired and I don't see that happening.

Can't think of one team in the NFL who would want Vanilla Fox (Bengals POSSIBLY), if they do then they are absolutely idiots.

I hear this from the media so often whenever they mention Fox being fired and I just don't see the logic.

NFL Executive: "Quick Fox just got fired! We could use a soft approach towards the game of football with an extra touch of ineffectiveness! Get his ass down here now!!"

Nah, you gotta look at how many opening there will most likely be....and how many would want to go conservative. If they want to go conservative Fox will find a job but it is pretty much known league wide that Fox is the easiest coach to gameplan for when he comes up on the schedule. The league has changed......coaches with Fox's mindset are no longer the norm. Fox has very good stats....and stats mean nothing per Fox. If you evauate what he does and doesn't do.....it isn't very impressive.

Me neither. I haven't heard of any coaches on the hot seat recently, but maybe one of the bottom teams in the league might take a chance on him. Like someone else said, I see him having more opportunities getting a DC job.

    • It absolutely is on him for doing it and I'd wager he used a good bit of that psychology major to help him through interviews because he could read people better than most. The Panthers should have recognized it for what it was, hell, we all did, but you can't absolve him just because everyone else does it.    38 Million guaranteed.
    • No Ikem vs the best pass rushing team in the NFL?  With no pocket for Bryce to step in to because of arguably the best interior DL in the NFL, Dexter Lawrence? Giants win comfortably IMO.  Look at how hype the Panthers were to win last week.  That was enough for them. The Panthers have struggled against mobile QBs this year too.  Guys who can extend the play.  Bo Nix, Marcus Mariota, Caleb Williams.  Panthers have struggled against all QBs this year to be honest, but those guys in particular did the best statistically.  Expect a big game from Danny Dimes, Nabers, and Tyrone.
    • And where did anyone say they were? I’m saying that’s where the comp comes from. I agree they are different. No two QBs are the same even that Nebraska QB is different than Mahomes no matter how hard he tries…
