Any bitching will be done in private to those who can impact the decision. Bitching to the media rarely gets the desired result immediately  and often backfires. Any smart coach knows that. 

If you don't get the results you need to see you can escalate the complaints and use the media as a later resort knowing it may get results but there is often a significant cost. Often have to look at benefit versus cost. If there are more head shots not flagged this week expect the dialogue to quickly elevate to the media.

They should suspend this referee team, but that would mean replacements. They wouldn't get their part time money then. Unless, of course, whoever has them paid off.
