Would you want this kind of coach?

I just can't imagine that attitude ending well for him.  There's a fine line between expressing discontent / concern over your teams' actions, lack of execution, poor play, whatever else and directly calling out players to the media.

He's hate-fuged that line into submission then kicked it for good measure.

Here's the million dollar question..  Do we want Tampa to beat them this weekend? Tampa starting 2-0 and Arizona starting 0-2 would be crazy. I know we usually want division teams to always lose, but I feel like we'll still overtake Tampa and we need Arizona to lose games

IMO, always hope for division rivals to lose above all else while the division is still up for grabs.

Seattle is almost certainly taking the West, so the best the Cards can hope for is coming into BoA again for another post season spanking.

Na, bruh.  Just an opinion, bruh.  I did drink a beer last night though.  Sierra-Nevada Nooner Pilsner.

But yes, I would take Tomlin over Rivera in a heartbeat right now.

The Steelers have arguably the best well-oiled machine in sports.

Tomlin's gear in that machine is overrated.

Just because you get mad and yell and jump around and stuff, it doesn't make you a good coach.

Arians is full of bologna.

Goes back to last year where he claimed he never had any intention of playing for homefield advantage from the jump and the plan was always to sit guys at half time (when they got stomped).  No one called him on the crazy logic.

Once he starts losing, media members will start treating this dude like he deserves.

He would have had more impact on those guys if he had waited until the team meeting and instead walked in, said their names and "My office... NOW!" then dismissed the rest of the team to position grouping meetings or weight room.

Then when those three get to his office tell them to grab their bags and go home for the rest of the day to wait for him to call and see if they needed to show up tomorrow.

They'd all be told to come back, but the message would be there to them and the rest of the team that didn't see them the rest of the day.

Dragging their names out before the press like that is just bush league.

That would require the coach to look those players in the eyes while he berates them and treats them like children.  Much easier to just bitch about them to the media where there's no fear of retaliation.
