No matter how strong you are in pass protection, cornerbacks need to tackle. If you can't bring the guy down, you at least need to angle him out of bounds or hold onto him until help gets there. That missed contain on Anderson was some of the most horrific tackling technique you're gonna see. If he doesn't fix that, he can't help us. It has to happen right now.

I hope the kid isn't too hard on himself. Confidence is a huge part of playing CB. He had a rough outing in his first NFL game. That's happened to a ton of guys, many who went on to become great players. Making the junk to the NFL is tough and there's a learning curve. That learning curve is a lot steeper when you played your college ball at Samford.
