Why you don't pay a zone corner top corner money

Our window for a superbowl is worth it, and I guarantee Norman's presence would have been enough to win us the game last Thurs.

“I don’t subscribe to the window theory – we’ve got a window, we’ve got to win now,” Gettleman said. “I don’t subscribe to the ‘we’re only one player away’ theory because in my mind football is the truest of all team games.”

Why are some of you mad at Josh? He wanted to get paid, that's why we all work, to get paid. I would want the money too. I hate he left, but there is no reason to throw shade on this guy. There is no guarantee that the Panthers are going to the Superbowl this year..... He did right get the money while you can!

you must be new here. lol

Value is subjective and particular to each team. The contract tells us what they think his value is; however, we will get an idea of the actual value he is providing to the redskins as the year progresses. We will also get a good idea of his value to us when we match up against Atlanta and Tampa twice. Can our DBs step up and reasonably limit Julio and Evans? Can they next year? The year after? I can live with talented WRs getting theirs, as long as the Panthers get the W. The question is: Will our wins against those teams (and others) hinge upon our corners' performances? You know DG didn't think that any of the corners we'd draft or sign could match Norman's production... he is betting that the rest of the team can make up for that talent hit. I hope he is right.

Josh didn't hold out because he wasn't under contract.

Because he wouldn't sign the damn franchise tender.

You actually have to BE under contract in order to "hold out".

Igo confirmed he would have, if it came to that.

Norman playing out the year under the tag just wasn't gonna happen.
