The Panthers could be fined and lose draft picks

And like I said in the first post, if the independent docs said that, then that means the team ignored them, and would deserve to be punished.  But i'm guessing the team got the approval from them.

it has been stated numerous times that this has happened though, and thus we wonder why you are even saying jt

Unpopular opinion, but if the team sent Cam back out there without checking, they deserve punishment.  Cam's brain is much more important than one game.

If competitiveness was a factor in the Drs assessment of Cam then punishment should be swift and severe, I won't make a peep.

If this is a witch hunt to cover up the ugliness we saw during that game, I honestly don't know.  That last little bit of light in my soul may just flicker out for good.

I'm pretty soured on the NFL as a whole at this point.

The more this shitshow unravels, the less I honestly even feel like watching games.

At some point it seems likely a big name player will suffer a tragic life threatening head injury, and the NFL who allowed their referees to become a bunch of Mr. Magoo clones will suffer immense irreversible backlash.

This is a great misdirection for the league so no one questions the refs anymore and the bogus ways the league favors one team in certain games.   Nothing to see here folks, move along, blame the team.   Why in the world wouldn't the league heavily fine or fire these refs that let these head shots continue all game?  That's the question.  It's like the NFL was testing their limits on dictating games even more to see what society lets them get away with.    So far, so good, good percentage still think this is legit, Roger says "carry on with the plans".

I never understood why you would penalize the team that took an illegal hit in a game. It just sets it up so defenses can see the advantage to taking a fine.

The opposing team should be charged a time out if a player is brought off the field due to a concussion for a helmet to helmet hit. Even if it was not flagged. Then the defensive player responsible for the hit needs to be removed from the game until the player that has left due to the concussion protocol returns. If this penalty is deemed flagrant, then a non contested 50 yard FG attempt will be allowed for the opposing team. Play will resume at the previous spot.

The cheap shots to the head and the dirty tactics employed to gain the upper hand at the end of the game will quickly disappear.

The targeting of players to remove them from the game with the game on the line should never be tolerated. That destroys the integrity of the game. It is also the only way the Broncos can win.

I am usually willing to shell out the $$$ for Sunday Ticket just to watch any other game I want when the Panthers aren't playing.  I called yesterday and told them to stick it where the sun don't shine, giving the reasons.

.....the team has no power to ignore the independant. If he says Cam can't play, Cam doesn't play. That's the entire point of having the independant in the first place.

Obviously, which is why per the original post the NFL is reviewing to make sure that protocol was followed.

Protecting their rights to influence the outcomes of games.

I wonder if they've decided if they're going to protect Trevor because this is a great reason for other teams to test it out. Trevor is obviously too young to get those calls.

No respect for thug coaches who teach thug tactics to their players. Paper Chumpions if you ask me.

If one of those penalties was enforced Denver would lose. They knew that.
