While I was drinking my morning coffee out of my Panthers Super Bowl mug, I wave of positivity just ran through my veins. I've been seeing the first page full of negative threads lately, which I understand, it was one of the toughest losses for me as well, but we need to realize there is still 15 more games to play and it's time to move on

To name a few positives- We moved the ball dang well on the best defense we will ever see this year.

                - KB is back and he looked great,  - Our first round pick played well, -We're healthy, no major injuries have happened,

                  We will dominate the nfc south, Cam will most likely get more respect after that officiating mess

                 - It's week 1, so if there is a time to lose a tough one, its better now than later

                  Oh yeah, and we still have Luke and Cam

So who else wants to hop on the positive train? Departure is next Sunday at 1pm

I'm actually not feeling down about the Panthers. Were there weaknesses? Yes. But there was a lot that looked good. And if the game had been officiated fairly and/or Cam not repeatedly headhunted, we would have won.

Put it this way:  we can only IMPROVE from here.  And considering we lost to the Super Bowl champions, on the road, by 1 point....yeah, I think we're good.

We looked pretty damn good for the first game of the season. That was playoff atmosphere, and playoff intensity. Gano missed it, it happens. Team needs to rally around him because there will be other times we need him to win games (although I know there were issues with the snap).

Doubtful we go 15-1 but it's obvious last year wasn't a fluke. This is a damn good football team.

If Gano had made that FG to win the game, we'd all be talking about overcoming all the adversity: tough defense, road game, crowd noise, altitude, super bowl loss wounds opened, Cam taking shot after shot, etc. And one FG could have put us at 1-0 thinking we can go 16-0. I for one believe we still have an awesome season ahead of us.

Feel good about the team, as far as the game it was one of the largest emotional let downs I've experienced as a Panther's fan. Only the 2012 Falcons game is probably worse.

That is inexcusable by any measure.

one thing is certain, Gettleman has invested a lot of money and draft picks on that dline and they best get their happy asses bought into the concept of gap control or it's going to be a very very  season with their schedule.

There was no film on Siemian. That makes preparation much harder, and it makes crafting a good defensive gameplan harder too. He will find it tougher to succeed from now on.

I wasn't down about the game. I think they played good and hard until the end. I know there were some weaknesses but as a whole, they looked good. I had them going 14-2 this year.

And get who exactly?

take your 10 year old emotion out of it because you need to know the kicker you replace him with can do better. We had olindo mare signed to an over ten million dollar contract. Unless you weren't a fan then, trust me it can get much much worse. Gano is solid. He's made big kicks for us. Not many automatic field goal kickers around and the ones that are don't leave the teams they play for.
