Panthers will score over 40 probably both times we play the Saints. Bucs are the only team that can challenge us with their good defense. They play tough, a lot like us. Falcons are a bunch of bums.

Today worked out perfect as far as I'm concerned. Falcons and Saints lost, and both their defenses are still trash. Bucs will present a problem, but I think we can take them

That's got to be heartbreaking for San Diego. Lead 24-3 in the 1st half, then all hell breaks lose. Lose Keenan Allen to a torn ACL, give up a HUGE lead, then lose the game.

Bad play, yes.

But if the receivers first step hadn't been OUTSIDE, but rather inside (inside his block), he likely would have had an easy 1st down.

But his 1st step was right in the defender's arms.  Dumb.

Still a turrible playcall.. I think the only reason they called that was to try to get out of bounds with a 1st down.

Which is why, if you'll check, my first line was "Bad play, yes."

And I still say that if that receiver had cut INSIDE his block, the "turrible playcall" would have still resulted in a 1st down.
