Anyone else doesn't fully trust Gano?

IDK, ya'll need to keep the old addage about kickers in mind here. There are 2-3 AMAZING kickers, 2-3 TERRIBLE kickers and everyone else is interchangeable. Personally I dont think G-oh-no is in the top 2-3 kickers but he is FAR from being the worst. Do I really have to remind anyone of the post Kasay and Olindo Mare years?? Graham has a huge leg and can hit from anywhere on the field we just have to help him take the next step forward with his accuracy beyond 50 yds. If you can't get one of the top 2-3 the trading out Gano for another j.a.g. isn't going to solve any issues. Hes great at kickoffs, as reliable as it gets inside of 50yds and has a big leg... I'll take this one short coming.

It was a bad snap and it affected the kick. He made the first kick before the timeout. After Ginn dropped the game winner against the Colts last year it was Gano who nailed the 52 yard FG in wet rainy conditions to win the game.

poo happens. I am not going to freakout over the first game, especially a game that was as fuged up as this one,

This guy has been missing gobs of feild goals since last season. At some point you have to stop defending him because he's nice and wants to be our John Kasay. John didn't miss this many important field goals.

Our 2003 Super Bowl season Kasay hit 50% from 50 yards and beyond.  Hit 84% on the year.

2015 Gano also hit 50% from 50 and beyond on the same number of kicks and hit 83% on the year.

it was a 50 yard kick with a bad snap.  He missed.  It happens.  Much more concerned with our entire secondary being a liability vs the run and pass

Gano is not John Kasay but then again, good luck trying to upgrade the kicker. We tried that with the punter and if we hadn't caught a break with Andy Lee, we'd be in worse shape than last year.

Besides, the snapper and holder also have their responsibilities. If that side doesn't do their jobs well, how can the kicker?

gano's alright. keep in mind the snap was high and andy lee may not've gotten the ball placed down properly.

every time i think of a gano miss in a big situation it was usually the result of it being blocked - which fell on the shoulders of the blockers.

gano is fine
