Should the Panthers defense respond in kind to teams that target Cam?

I agree that we shouldn't take it out on their QB.

But I absolutely believe that our OL should've retaliated against one or two of the headhunters.  Go after the bully.  Not the bully's brother.

I wish our opponents and league officials kept that in mind when it came to us and our players.

With th lack of respect and protection for our players, i feel like it's getting to the point of sending a gladiator in the arena with no shield or sword.

You play by the rules.

The refs interpret and enforce those rules on a per game basis.

You play up to the constraints imposed. 

If you recognize the boundary is bigger, you play that way, too, and force them to make the calls.  You can help yourself in the long run, if you want to look at it that way.
