Ron has had enough success in large part because of Cam that...

He should make a statement about the NFL and what the refs did.  Take the fine and tell them he welcomes it.  Talk about how they failed to protect him and continue to set a horrible precedent with him vs other QBs.

Then Ron should acknowledge he failed Cam too.

Until Ron, or Maybe even JR says something nothing will change. Hey but blacks in this country are used to that type of treatment. Which is exactly why that tap dance Cam did on the Kaepernick issue was a major fail.

Ron is a minority and last night he failed Cam too.  He needs to call out the NFL and admit he failed with them.

And it ain't just black QBs.  Opponents could get away junk with The Golden Calf of Bristol too. The Golden Calf of Bristol simply was the last true white physical speciman that has lined up a QB

Meh I'm just not gonna take off work for work week games. And a couple other little things. If I have something to do Sunday I'll do that. I'm not gonna plan around the season. This was seriously deflating. I thought if gano had made the field goal if I would have felt the same. Yes, I would have.

Listen I'm not being overly emotional, I had a beer in the first quarter. I wanted Cam OUT of the game when it was obvious the refs were not protecting him. If I were Cam I would be pretty concerned about my safety after what was allowed to go on.

Prince with a thousand enemies.

I felt that way after the SB and stuck by it. Haven't bought apparel. Post here a bit lesslast night was different. It isn't the team I'm angry at-i have an enormous amount of pride in them right now-it's the sickening league that makes me think that maybe this sport just isn't as good as I thought it was.

I just want somebody, anybody with this organization, to stand up and defiantly call this crap out. The two lady Riveras ranting a bit on twitter last night (while Ron did his usual Ron thing)  is probably the most we got.

and take eyesore of a shield off of our field until the league can demonstrate an actual concern for protecting the players on our team.

I felt the same.  I don't want to spend hours of my life watching this crap whether it's against our players or any players.  Yes, the NFL is a hard-hitting and dangerous sport. Serious injuries happen.  But I'd always thought they were *mostly* accidents.  This kind of intentional head-hunting - ADMITTED by Denver players!!! - makes me rethink my love of this sport, though my love and respect for the Panthers and what they stand for only increases the more I compare them with other teams.

Does anyone else get chills thinking now of that UnderArmour ad?  Prince with a thousand enemies seems damn prophetic if you ask me.   I was a bit skeptical when I first saw it, but dang, I think they nailed it.  Scary.

I think this will rally the team together. i really do hope Cam is ok and they sit him if need be. I felt like vomiting watching the game and that was well before the missed field goal.

Cam is legit the best player in the league. He took all those shots and STILL drove us down the field to win the game with a field goal. You wanna see your qb earn respect? He's already earned it in years passed but this puts it on another level. Trust me every player on this team knows what went down last night. It'll bring us together.

The NFL only reacts when their cheeks start to burn red. A "statement" isn't going to do anything.

Like said, take that mockery of a logo down at midfield.

I imagine Ron is doing a lot of screaming behind the scenes.   Let's give him a bit of benefit of the doubt until we know otherwise.

Some people who watched the game live said the intentionality and illegality of the hits was not as apparent until you saw the videos.   I'm guessing Ron wanted to watch it all for himself before he spoke last night.  He's also spoken of how he lost his cool during the 2013 season playoff game against SF and how that affected his players.   I respect him wanting to keep calm until he could dig into this.

But, if he and JR don't make some kind of statement to address this more publically, then I will be very disappointed.

I'm sure Stephanie and Courtney will lay into him if he doesn't!

#GirlGang power!!! :-)

Derek Anderson got a hit to the head call or maybe a face mask one game he started against the Bucs a couple years ago. Dude barely grazed him. Cam takes repeated helmet to helmet shots to the head, nothing. fug the Broncos and fug the refs. Getting hard to believe this is a fair game anymore.

Ron Jaworski on Mike and Mike this morning basically said bc Cam runs out of the pocket a lot he should expect it.

What??!!???!!

As long as the QB is behind the line of scrimmage he still has the ability to pass...God forbid if that was Brady, Rodgers, et al...those Broncos might have been suspended for the year.

I dislike him.He has never had much good to say about Cam who in the he'll expects to get hit in the head when it is suppose to be illegal inside or outside the pocket.  They trying to take Cam out, they don't like him bc he is not the norm that they worship!

Only former players will care and maybe a handful of analyst that support Cam. ESPN as a whole will not give a FUG. Maybe a 2 minute segment on First Take before a commercial break and on to talking about how big Semens and Elways dicks are on a full moon during a cool summer night. Breathtaking journalism.

Actually I saw ESPN talking about this already on Mike and Mike.  I get your point though.

Guys, if this officiating continues, it's only a matter of time before Cam suffers a significant injury. I hope that there is enough of an outrage that the league is forced to hold these officials accountable. Here's an article discussing the missed calls. I agree with the author on all accounts except he said it didn't make a difference in the outcome. I beg to differ. Personal fouls are not only automatic first downs, they move the ball forward 15 yards and extend drives. I am confident that one of the drives that we were forced to punt would have ended with a score. Any score and we would have won the game. Not to mention the momentum swing by allowing Denver to run around with sledge hammers and calling a celebration penalty on us. I still believe we will be OK and have a great year. https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/the-nfls-referees-inexplicably-allowed-the-broncos-to-tee-off-on-cam-newton/amp/?client=ms-android-motorola
