NFL Complaint

The first roughing the passer penalty against Cam since week 11 2014. Hey @Lilsmitty09 whip up a montage video of all the questionable hits in that time span that weren't flagged and send it to the league and blast it all over the twit o sphere.  I realize it may take you until week 8 of next season seeing as how often the refs let Cam get abused, but think of the children and the greater good you will have done by bringing this to light.

That was mostly sarcasm, but seriously, a video of that could actually help to further make the mass media and general NFL fanbase realize the poo Cam has had to deal with since he has been in the league. No one else would take the time to create this video, but we have faith in you Brofessor.

I mean it's just reminiscent of "letters to the editors agaisnt cam" and Seattle's stupid petition. We lost. Last year spoiled us. It was one game. Footballs a rough sport price take shots. I was disgusted as any of you, but once the game is over its on to next week. Imagine if anyone on the team felt like you kids did.

Actually its nothing like that at all.

One was about a woman who was lying about what actually occurred (i.e. "pelvic thrusting") and pretending she was offended.  No people were hurt during that process.

The other is about a team trying to make jelly of Cam Newton's brain.

The fact that you think these situations are remotely similar does not say a lot about your critical thinking skills.

I'm not trying to reiterate what everyone else has said tonight.  However, I am trying to see if there is any way to formally make a complaint to the NFL.  I think we lost the game ourselves, but I can't sit and watch the NFL claim they care about player safety after watching Cam take those helmet to helmet hits repeatedly.  If they care about player safety then there should be a forum for fans to express concern.  I understand that it's hard to call a penalty in the heat of the game watching 22 guys hit each other, but there has to be a way to make the league look more closely at calls after the game.

Im probably just wasting a thread because the NFL is just about money now, but maybe it's time the fans do something.

The owners run the league. Your best option to actually get someone to read your complaint and maybe even respond would be J. Richardson.

Other than that boo your ass off next time this happens.

let's rent a big billboard somewhere in Charlotte maybe along the highway towards downtown to Roger Goodell "Fug You" with a G.

There is also this. I'd throw in a G for a timely billboard if this became a trend.

F You Goodell would accomplish nothing

I'm not that worried about it right now

Hell yeah let's make some shirts and signs that says "Fu*k the NFL" the League does not want Cam Newton to be the face of NFL because he is black. So there for  Our Carolina Panthers can't win it all. It's hard for honest kind hearted people to see this..but as stupid as this sounds it's true..So what do we got Probably one of the greatest football players in the history of the game. Playing for a progressively thinking city and state. Yes the powers that be hates the Carolina Panthers..but l say Keep Pounding!!!!

Oh you're gooooooood. We've got ourselves a smart one, here.

Tell us more about this point now that the discipline has been handed out. Still no valid argument?

My point wasn't about the thread topic. It was referring to your derogatory manner in addressing other posters, which you've done several times now. Ordinarily I'd have some well chosen words for your attitude, but I wouldn't want to stoop to your level.

It isn't similar to that at all. The letter to the editor was filled with misinformation regarding Cam dabbing all of the Titans and Seattle's petition, well it's Seattle. It's about as far from here to Seattle as it is from here to England.

Once the game is over, it's over. However, the actions during this game by the opposing team will be carried out by someone else. The NFL has an image problem related to player safety and concussions in general. What did they do Sunday Night? Host a conversation with Roger Goodell concerning player safety. What is on NFL.com right now? An article about how the NFL has pledged millions of dollars to player safety. What did the NFL have to do to settle the lawsuit regarding head trauma? Pay millions of dollars.

This isn't about player safety. This PR from the NFL is a direct attempt to introduce mitigating factors to future potential lawsuits against the league by retired players. They present the fact that players are fined, ejected and other "deterrents" however it doesn't affect how players play the game against guys like Cam Newton or Rob Gronkowski.

What happened last Thursday will continue, and until the NFL begins to throw flags for a helmet tap on Cam like they do for Brees and Fitzpatrick, it is proof that there is no concern for the safety of players and that no lessons were learned in regards to the lawsuit they faced. Unless fans put down the PR Machine, introduce facts related to Cam's repeated head shots and don't accept fines as acceptable penalties, this treatment of Cam's head as a means of removing the best player on the field will continue.

as I said the other day, I could not possibly care less about the result of the game

that kind of vicious head hunting is despicable and any bronco fan that didn't wake up the next morning utterly ashamed of their franchise is a bad human being.

That kind of crap is what causes guys to forget their grandkids decades from now and Gene Steratore simply did not care.

His entire crew should be suspended pending investigation and truthfully so should Kubiak and his defensive staff

What a house of scumbags.

THIS^^^^

It has nothing to do with winning or losing a game.  It is about taking care of all players and to deny those hits happened is embarrassing.
