Bigger concern - pass rush or run defense?

Yes, you are correct. Greg Hardy is literally the only DE in the entire world that is available and better than Delaire.

Not sure if serious or sarcastic, but you are correct.  The guy they picked up as everyone was waiting like a kid on Christmas morning for DE cuts was a lump of coal with ZERO career sacks in six different team stops in three years.

Manny Lawson and Wes Horton are both available. Neither is very good but they at least clear the very low bar of better than Delaire.

This defense is completely dependent on Star, KK, CJ, and the LBs. If an offense can avoid those areas of the defense, then it will be a long day.

The Bradberry/Ealy side of the defense is going to be attacked until they prove they can consistently stop big plays. That side is horrible against the run and Coleman is not a good enough SS to make up for the problems caused by Ealy and Bradberry.

Never put the Delaire, Soliai, Butler, and Addison combo on the field ever. It was ridiculous to see that group in together.

The Panthers need to find a vet at DE and CB who is disciplined and consistent. I would take McClain and Allen type players again to start.

The Broncos ignored blocking the secondary and committed 9 blockers on the front 7 most of the game. They allowed CJ Anderson to isolate on the DBs, and none of them had a chance to stop them.

Robert McClain is the best DB the Panthers have. That is not good. Coleman is worse than Roman Harper at SS. He needs to move back to FS. The Panthers need DBs who shed blocks and attack plays like Norman and Tillman did last season.

Until the OTs, DBs, and WRs prove they can make consistent plays, they will be the target of every opponent.

How many times was Butler pushed into the lap of Kuechly? The game seems to big for any of the rookies. They need to limit their snaps and get players in there the defense can trust.

Great.  A just cut guy facing a DV suspension or a twice cut guy popped for PEDs last year.
