Yeah, this is being asked by a lot of folks in the media too.

I have a prediction:  Panthers are going to get fined for not pulling him out of the game.

And other than that, and a few "let's appear like we care about this" fines against the Brocos players, nothing will change.

I'm literally shaking with anger.

Besides the specialist on each sideline, there is supposed to be an individual whose one & only job from the NFL booth is to stop the game for the protocol. It would've taken that person to stop the game after the last hit because (1) Cam did not come to the sideline after the hit so he couldn't be checked by our staff (2) we had no timeouts left to force him to come to the sideline. This you could put on Cam himself too because if he had stayed down they would've run 20 seconds off the clock & he knew that, there were 34 seconds left in the game.

Um, this post is total BS.  Unless you can provide proof, please stop spreading nonsense.

You watch the Broncos all the time. You know it is true. Can you show me actual tackling by that defense? No. Because they react at full speed by their training. Watch their practices and break down what they do with their drills. Form tackling is not what Wade Phillips teaches.

Based on this line of thinking I would say Carolina O linemen are taught to grasp defenders necks jerseys, etc until it's called by the officials.  Don't believe me?  Go back and watch the "great job" Remmers did on VM all game.

So you want to nitpick? The pendulum swings both ways. Nothing but dumb arguing would come from it.

In the past, the reasoning was Cam was a running back. But clearly he was a Quarterback tonight and still the calls were not made. I'm not sure why the refs and the NFL cant figure this out, but it almost makes you not want to watch anymore. There is a clear bias against Cam and it makes no sense.

I know I have come across as a "troll" but I honestly do understand and sympathize with at least one of the no calls on the head shots on Cam. I do respect your team, players and coaching staff.  Just get perturbed when fans start taking about conspiracy and such. Best of luck the rest of the season.  Cheers!

btw there were uncalled blows to Cam's head in the Super Bowl, too. Specifically the strip sack TD. Your team are filth, enjoy it.

But it all got overshadowed by the same ugliness that, more and more often, foists itself on everyone invested in the game of football -- the league, the fans, the players, the officials, you, me.

There is a new concussion protocol in place, but if I told you I understood it after watching Newton stay in that game I would be lying or delusional. As I expect almost anyone would be, the league and its officiating crew included.

Time and again, Newton took shots to his helmet that were not called. When that flag finally did fly as the game ground down to its final, crucial moments, the offsetting policy mocked the earlier moments. It was as if to say: Even when we protect you, Cam, we don't care enough to make it matter.
