No, Mike Remmers isn't bad. No, We didn't play like trash. Yes, our defense is suspect. Yes, it was a close game. Sure, refs missed calls. Yes, we'll be fine.

Look at this effort from Mike Remmers

Dude is trash

You cherry pick one play out of probably 20 times they went up head to head. Also you forget that Miller does that to damn near everyone. Foolish nine using the word trash like you actually saw Nate Chandler play right tackle. If ou wanna see trash, go find that.

Once some highlights roll out, I'll show you some one on one man handling job that Remmers put on Miller. I'm fine with him right now. Could he improve? Yes. But did he get better? Heck yes.

Mike Remmers is a turnstile when it matters most. It doesn't matter if he does a decent job for 3 7/8 quarters when he folds like a lawn chair on the drive you need him. His job is about production. He does not produce when he needs to.

other time he had Trai turner come over for help, he is a JAG and will be a liabilty agaisnt playoff caliber team.  We need to roll with Daryl Williams and get him live game experience. Time to starting thinking about the future.

You guys are acting like the sky is falling when Remmers does bad for a few plays. He isn't that bad. Goodness you're talking about Von Miller here. But I'd say he's improved. I used to be a Remmers hater, but he's held up good when needed this game. He held up fantastically well in the first quarter, notice Von Miller was silent for the most part. Give him some credit.

Both are trash. It's not hard to understand or admit. If we go to the playoffs with him again, it's over before it even starts. Oher might be passable, but even then we have a tough hill to climb with him.

Personally this feels like it will be a repeat of the 2014 season. Everyone in the offseason saying that we were getting better for cutting players, all the while it was obvious the team was creating holes. Every signing was heralded as the next important piece, roleplayer that locked down a position. Then we ended up with guys like Decoud, Cason, Harper getting torched, Bryon Bell & Nate Chandler getting Cam killed, and who can forget Dixon and Cotchery.

This team surely isn't as bad on offence as that team, but I right now I feel like our defensive backs may be. Also I don't understand what's going on with the run defense. We just put another first round pick in the defensive line, but it looks like there were holes everywhere.

It's going to be another year of super Cam or bust I think. I feel like there's going to be quite a few high scoring games.

In fairness, Igo himself said it seemed as though DW had hit a wall in his development.

Not sure how much better he will do than Remmers has.

Offense is fine. We are in big trouble on the d-line. They were toast tonight. Johnson looked done, didn't even try on some running plays. Star still not stepping up, really disappointing and is not on path for a second contract. KK did alright but not for what he wants for a contract, superstars have to come to play every week. Ealy played ok.

Going to be a long season defensively. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hyde gash us next week as well. We have a lot of holes to fill next offseason, not really anything we can do about it now. Just hope our Oline stays healthy enough to win the division again and maybe get lucky in the playoffs.

Right.

ill be leaving now. This board has become out of control with poo posts like this declaring the average starting RT a bust after losing out on maybe 4 or 5 out of 20 attempts against an All PRO.
