No, Mike Remmers isn't bad. No, We didn't play like trash. Yes, our defense is suspect. Yes, it was a close game. Sure, refs missed calls. Yes, we'll be fine.

Put this in perspective. Look at the transformation of our offense since the Superbowl. We were actually able to do stuff offensively. If you haven't noticed Remmers, he's been doing an amazing job holding up Von for the most part, besides the last few plays. Playcalls were suspect, and need work obviously. I've never liked Shula as OC, but it is what it is. But KB back will do huge things for us. The fact we were able to do that much damage on a defense that got us deadlocked last year is saying something. I like our offensive look going forward.

We had plenty of missed calls on our sides, but we've had calls that helped us, and honestly the refs missed calls for the Broncos too. They were just all around horrible, and they should be fired. Those blatant helmet to helmet's really pissed me off. Cannot believe they weren't called. That affected Cam's play for sure, and that's just completely stupid they didn't call those. Plenty of other uncalled plays, but it is what it is. Of course special teams can't go a game without a flag for some stupid thing. Do I think it's rigged. No. Do I think it may be slightly biased. Sure, but I think it's mainly due to the refs being absolutely poo at their jobs. Both teams had missed calls, and that's that. (Though I believe we had the bigger end of the stick when it comes to that.)

Our Defense does not look like the defense last year. It looks like a piece of swiss cheese. I am not a believer Denver's offense is that good, but they just might be. Our secondary was gonna make mistakes in the early go of course, but look at it this way. We won't have much of a challenge going forward for our secondary, playing against the 49ers and then Sam Bradford. I think we'll learn and grow from these mistakes, but these pains are to be expected. What concerned me was our run defense. Delaire was absolute trash in his containment, and I can't believe our line let so many runs loose.

Our special teams situation looks good. Gano was unlucky with that kick, pressure got to him for sure. Just consider last year when Walsh and the Patriots kicker missed those key FG's in the playoffs. Andy Lee is a good trade-off, that huge 75+ yard punt was stellar. I'm confident we'll be fine there.

Coaching: We need answers. We've been outsmarted yet again. We need to work on that.

Again, first game of the season. As much as I wanted these donkeys done for, it's still just any other game. I expect a more 12-4 season type of deal, but I doubt it'd be any less. We have one of the best offenses in the league. We'll start catching fire. Cam and KB gonna be a huge duo, and Funchess will slowly reach new heights. Now, I wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos start having a top 10 offense now, even with a rookie QB essentially. Siemian is looking fine, and I think they'll go places. I'm sure the loss won't sting as much as soon as the 49ers face the wrath of the Panthers. Lighten up. Most Bronco fans would admit this game was close, and would agree the Panthers are looking good. I mean, c'mon, we did major damage to a top NFL defense. Von Miller was mostly quiet, and we were able to make plays. Is there room for improvement? Only thing I can think of is offensive game calling.

Anyhow, just ignore the trolls for 10 days. Once we get on a steady pace, we'll get there. I doubt we miss the playoffs, and I'm a firm believer we'll get the #1 seed. We have a better offense than last year, but our defense has regressed. It's the way it is. However, it'll pay dividends down the road as the rookies learn and get better, and we get our run blocking in check. Otherwise, one dang close game, but one we should be proud of. We played our hearts out, and I'm sure excited at the potential of our team. Keep Pounding!!

Remmers is JAG, he had help from trai and HB/FB most of the game.

He had help, but most RT's don't usually go one on one with Miller. I was pleasantly surprised how well he held up on his one on one. Ignore the collapse late in the game, and we'd be talking about getting Remmers a raise.

Nope, and he is average at run blocking, I rather see Williams start at RT  atleast he can help control the tempo of the game with the run game.
