Bradberry played off the ball when he was to push his man to his inside help which was often the safety coming over the top. Thomas had zero impact on the outcome of this game.

Josh would've helped us this game, yes. That doesn't mean it was a huge mistake. Successful decision makers don't make moves based on how it will affect one game or one season, they look further down the line.

It looks like we are prepared to suffer this year.  Without Norman, I don't think we'll be able to compete unless our offense shows up and shows out all year.

He would have had his guy covered which means more time for Tackles to block which leads to opportunities for DE/DT to get to the QB.

But but the cap. And Gettleman is a genius. Trust the Gettleplan, even though we would be nowhere without Newton and Kuechly, two guys he would have ignored in the draft for a defensive lineman.

A lot of their plays were from screens and short routes away from the blitz and the fuger being able to run since everyone is playing Man and the blitzers are all in the backfield tripping over each other. Its not uncommon for this to happen at the first part of the season because of the no contact rules.

Norman may or may not have, but the cap space we have could have, and still can be, used.  Get to work GMan.

We had a bigger issue with stopping some of the big runs.  Cornerbacks aren't generally the one's tasked with stopping the running backs.  We need better d-line and safety play.
