Josh Norman would have made a huge difference

He wouldn't have given up all those easy passes for first downs Bradberry gave up.  Plus, we could have left him on an island.  Norman shut down most of the guys he went up against last year, including Demaryius Thomas in the Superbowl.

Bradberry played off the ball when he was to push his man to his inside help which was often the safety coming over the top. Thomas had zero impact on the outcome of this game.

People can say what they want, but letting Norman go was a huge mistake.  This would have been an easy win if Norman was here.  If anyone disputes that, I don't know what to tell you.

Josh would've helped us this game, yes. That doesn't mean it was a huge mistake. Successful decision makers don't make moves based on how it will affect one game or one season, they look further down the line.

I am not saying the sky is falling or woe is us but I just saw a rookie pick apart our secondary.. Norman would have been able to handle his biz against Thomas.. I think this might be one of the few miss steps by Gman..

Now look, I think we still run the south and make the playoffs but our defense looked mediocre AT BEST against Simeon. I just can't even right now.. that kick hurt so bad

Pass rush is an issue.

It looks like we are prepared to suffer this year.  Without Norman, I don't think we'll be able to compete unless our offense shows up and shows out all year.

We tried to blitz him the entire game and manned up. The blitzes never worked. A lot of their plays were from screens and short routes away from the blitz and the fuger being able to run since everyone is playing Man and the blitzers are all in the backfield tripping over each other. As someone mentioned above, the run defense was horrendous. Legit Luke was the only one who could shed a block and even then it'd be like 6-7 yards down the field for the tackle.

Its not uncommon for this to happen at the first part of the season because of the no contact rules.

We had a bigger issue with stopping some of the big runs.  Cornerbacks aren't generally the one's tasked with stopping the running backs.  We need better d-line and safety play.

What you just said to me made no sense. Norman would have contributed to stopping the run by making tackles. Because our safeties failed at making tackles. It's not complicated.

It's time to log off. This gem here is funny.
