Worley or McClain?

Worley. They'll throw him into the fire to get experience for the games that matter. If he's really struggling badly we may go with McClain for a bit, but I don't think he will. They'll give him some help when gameplanning and let him play more physically than he did when he struggled in the preseason. Bradberry's gonna be a monster but I think Worley will be solid too this year. May take a bit of time but he needs the experience right off the bat and I think that's what Rivera thinks too. McClain is fine if we really need him but I don't think it makes much sense to play him over Worley right now.

Agreed. I'm fearing McClain will start on the outside over Worley, but would prefer to see Shaq inside and Bene out wide.

My fear as well. Worley needs to get the reps and playing experience, cause we need him to play on the outside when we put Bene in the slot to cover the smaller, faster WR. If we play McClain over Worley on the outside (when Bene's our nickel), Worley won't get that experience, and McClain will propably be our weak spot.

I really don't understand why they refuse to play this man outside. He's way better there then inside. I understand inside is harder to play but I want him on the field every play.

From everything I've seen from Worley, he's not ready to start at all. He still the same corner from WVU that would get burned regularly

Wouldn't be shocked if we see more McClain and Bene than people assumed.  Just week 1....given it is a short week and such a big opening road game

then really bust out the rookies at home.

Obviously Bradberry plays but Worley might not see loads of action

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
