Hot take: Jeremy Cash is our best rookie right now

There's a very real chance that Cash won't even be active anytime soon, there are 5 LB's ahead of him. Take MLB out of the picture, and he still (currently) is behind Shaq and Klein. While Cash has impressed, and I wasn't sold initially, Butler, Worley, and Bradberry have all shown me more...while playing against starters.

NFL veterans.

Bene, McClain, and... that's it. Roster spot pretty much assured, and quite different from competing with Kuechly/TD/Shaq/Klein/Mayo/Jacobs.

Like I said though, I'm not really disagreeing.

Giving him a nod and admitting he will see the field more is disrespectful how?

You are selling his accomplishment short and the thread title is flat out wrong.

Not a big deal, you were going for shock value.  I get it. And Cash is remarkable. But thread should be about Bradberry as our best rookie with a nod to Cash.

Cash went undrafted but demanded and got one of the highest UDFA contracts. With his resume he was hardly a secret.

Bradberry was changing a toilet seat draft night.

I agree about love affair with undrafted rookie part of your post. I just can't remember anyone ever having it for Bell.

Oh, the love affair with Bell was out of this world. Then after a year of starting, those same people claimed they knew he sucked the whole time.
