I was thinking about a Klein trade as well. Packaging him up for a comparable DE to a LB needy team seems to be far superior than the 6th/7th round comp pick we'll get a couple years from now when we just let him walk at seasons end.

If Greg would shut up for a year and take a well publicized trip to a social skills class or something, then I really think this team would take him back. Jerry would, at the least, and that's what matters.

He was in the news all last year making weird comments about women married to other players, getting into scuffles with coaches and teammates, doing interviews to bring up junk. etc last year.   That isn't being quiet.

Not sarcastic.  Just takes JR doing something most, including myself, have doubted he would do.  But NO ONE knows JR's mind.
