Cash has been playing light out.  Very fast and physical and hits with mean intentions.  We got one of the fastest LBs in NFL...  Thomas Davis converted safety, Shaq converted RB, Cash converted safety.

Guy is a pure football player. And right now as a utility guy, offers much more value than a Sanchez or Wegher.

The kid obviously played well during preseason and deserved a spot. Dude is a beast in the box.

But I'm curious if Igo (or anybody else) can comment if the extra weight he put on has affected his speed any.

So were other teams, thus the signing bonus- enough, along with a good dose of respect for the Panthers organization, to get him to sign on with a LB laden team, but peanuts in the world of NFL money. 

I hope he can emulate Luke and improve his coverage. That seemed to be his big weakness and may be the reason he was available in round 8.
